Since the Jingle Joy sticker album season began at the exact same time as the Holiday Treasures event, you’ll have plenty of chances to start a new sticker season on the right foot! Sofia will also find plenty of cosmetics for you as Holiday Treasures rewards in Monopoly Go today!
How To Play Holiday Treasures
Get More Holiday Treasures Pickaxes
If you’re familiar with the special events in Monopoly Go, then you’ll be no stranger to the need to collect Holiday Treasures pickax tokens from other events that happen in Monopoly Go while the Holiday Treasures event is active. Not only will timed events offer extra pickaxes, but you’ll find a slew of them added to regular rewards, too. You can get more Holiday Treasures pickaxes by:
- Participating in the center banner events that are typically longer in duration and appear right below your current cash total at the top of the screen. While there’s a treasure hunt event on, these provide dozens of free Holiday Treasures pickax tokens as milestone rewards.
- Similarly, you can participate in the daily leaderboard tournaments that refresh more often and task you with landing on Railroad tiles to attack other players directly. Like the banner events, you’ll earn free Holiday Treasures pickaxes as milestone rewards from your daily tournament participation.
- Finishing up your daily quick win goals, which refresh every day at 8AM EST and offer a variety of simple tasks that encourage you to play the game each day, paying out rewards for each quick win task you complete. You’ll earn pickaxes from these quick wins during the Holiday Treasures event, too, in addition to the regular rewards of free dice rolls and generous cash prizes.
- Grabbing them from your regular Monopoly Go store rewards that refresh every eight hours. In addition to the cash and dice rolls, you’ll earn a handful of free Holiday Treasures pickax tokens each time you collect this loot, so be sure to do it regularly.
- Finding extra pickaxes from playing levels of the Holiday Treasures event itself! Not only will you have a few pickaxes replenished as milestone rewards for completing certain levels, but you can find additional Holiday Treasures pickax tokens hidden within the level game boards. They don’t uncover a hidden piece, typically, but they do give you another shot at doing so instead of wasting a pickax on a blank tile!
If you’re trying to earn the milestone rewards from the center banner events or daily leaderboard tournaments,
boosting your dice roll multiplier
when you’re nearing spaces that reward points for these events will help speed you through the list of milestone rewards faster. The quicker you can get more Holiday Treasures pickaxes, the quicker you can get to digging for said treasures!
Use Pickaxes To Dig For Prizes
Once you’ve acquired a handful of Holiday Treasures pickaxes from any of the above-mentioned methods, it’s time to actually start playing the event! Like other digs in Monopoly Go, we’ll be using one pickax per tile to clear treasure boards meticulously, consistently in search of hidden treasures and trinkets beneath the soil. You can see an outline of which item you’ll need to complete the item shown at the top of your screen above the dig board itself.
The items you need to find in Holiday Treasures vary in size and shape, but the overall goal here is to unearth every hidden treasure on each board so you can collect your series of Holiday Treasures rewards and move onto the next level. You’ve only got until 3PM EST on December 9 to progress through the levels, so earn as many prizes as you can as quicklu as you can, since we’ve got some pretty cool festive loot to be earned this weekend!
With the new sticker album season kicking off at the same time as Sofia took flight for the Holiday Treasures event, you’ll be pleased to find plenty of assorted sticker packs as rewards in this weekend’s dig! There’s even a purple sticker pack at the final milestone to give you some of your first chances at getting the rarer stickers for the tougher Jingle Joy albums.
If you’re more of a cosmetics person and are looking to celebrate the holiday season in style, you’ll also find two new pieces as Holiday Treasures rewards! Not only do we have a new shield skin of Scottie in a Christmas wreath for completing level ten, but you’ll then find a new board token of a car carrying home a lovely Christmas tree as the reward for completing level 17.
