The film Sixty Minutes features the character Octavio, a mixed martial arts fighter who is set to appear in a fight against another well-known fighter, Robert. This fight is sure to bring a lot of money, especially if Octavio wins. However, it just so happens that this fight is on the same day as Octavio’s daughter’s birthday. On a call, he tells her he will be there at her party after he finishes the fight.

Despite promising his daughter, Leonie, that he would show up to her party soon, he receives a call from his ex-girlfriend about the situation and how he had promised to be there at 6 p.m., but would most likely be showing up around 7. Soon after this conversation, Octavio is about to jump into the fight, when he receives a call from his ex-girlfriend’s lawyer, threatening to take away his custody of Leonie. Almost immediately after this call, Octavio rushes out to get to his daughter, with only 60 minutes to make it in time.


On Octavio’s way to his daughter, multiple people attempt to stop him, including those running the event as they rigged it to make him win so they could receive a big payout on a bet. This leads to multiple fights, with Octavio having to run through a few obstacles to reach his daughter in the time allotted to him. As he attempts to avoid multiple people who are after him due to their loss of money, fans will get to enjoy not only many intense action sequences, but a heartfelt story underneath as well.
