Dragon Age Day has arrived, and BioWare is celebrating with several rewards revolving around Dragon Age: The Veilguard, including the release of Hawke cosmetics and a standalone character creator. Fandom holidays can go a long way in bringing a community together, especially when the product and companies involved celebrate as well. For BioWare, there are two: N7 Day (November 7) in celebration of Mass Effect and Dragon Age Day (December 4). BioWare released some special Shepard cosmetics in Dragon Age: The Veilguard for N7 Day and has gone even more heavy-handed with the Dragon Age Day celebrations.
At a quick glance, BioWare has released/is releasing an image showcasing the studio’s favorite Rooks, a new art piece (seen above) celebrating Rook’s journey in becoming a Hero of the Veilguard, a standalone character creator for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Patch 4 for the game, choice infographics based on player decisions, and last but certainly not least, Hawke cosmetics for Rook.
Infographics will be posted on social media exploring the statistics behind choices players made during Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The first reveals the fate of D’Meta Crossing’s Mayor: 22% of players used the Right of Conscription as
Grey Wardens
, 36% of players saved the Mayor, and 42% of players left him to his fate.

Hawke Cosmetics
After downloading Patch 4, players can unlock Hawke’s iconic armor, body paint, and blood smear beginning today. They are permanent additions to the game, found in the Lighthouse. Players must have completed the Dragon Age: The Veilguard story mission “The Singing Blade” first.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Standalone Character Creator
BioWare is also releasing a standalone, free Dragon Age: The Veilguard character creator on all platforms (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S). Rooks can be transferred to the full game as long as players are on the same platform as the creator, making it a perfect way for someone to make a Rook now and jump into Dragon Age: The Veilguard later, should they so choose.
BioWare’s Favorite Rooks
Those who are keen to learn more about the world of Dragon Age: The Veilguard will also have the opportunity to do so today. BioWare will be hosting a developer AMA on the r/dragonage subreddit, beginning at 12 pm PST/3 pm EST.
