The Hidden Ones is a martial arts action title that announces a pre-alpha test for Android and PC in select regions. Developed by Tencent Games‘ subsidiary MoreFun Studios, the game previously had tests in China under the title Hitori no Shita: The Outcast.

A fast-paced 3D action awaits in The Hidden Ones with multiple game modes

If you are a fan of webcomics, you might have come across Hitori no Shita, which translates to Under One Person in English. The same webcomic inspires the anime television series and now, the multi-platform game. This 3D-action fighting game combines martial arts and myth in a visually stunning package.

With a unique Eastern-inspired aesthetic, you can immerse yourself in captivating stories and fast-paced combat. The visuals when it was released during the China release and first announcement were hype, and I was looking forward to the title the day I saw it. You can see that the makers want to showcase the beauty of martial arts with urban myth-inspired visuals, and from the trailer, they have succeeded.

There are multiple game modes to watch out for. Three of them are currently known: Story Mode offers an epic narrative with cinematic cutscenes, boss fights, and beautifully designed levels. There is a Duel Mode that features intense, fast-paced battles and Trial Mode is somewhat of a progression mode where as you clear level more powerful boss encounters can be seen.

The developers have announced that the pre-alpha test for The Hidden Ones will begin on January 7, 2025, and will run until January 15, 2025. This test will be available to players in North America and Brazil only on both Android and PC platforms.

If you are interested, you can sign up for the test by visiting the official website, registering for the Level Infinite Pass, and completing the recruitment survey. The testing has just begun, so the release might take time, so keep an eye on official updates.
