These abyssal monsters are considered elite enemies and grant drops such as Refractive Bud, Bewildering Broadleaf, and Illusory Leafcoil. There are around 40 respawning Tenebrous Mimiflora locations in Genshin Impact. There are also non-respawning ones, like the monsters players meet in Quenin’s Twisted Extension quest in Genshin Impact or the ones that must be defeated to get the Clear the Area, Please! Achievement.

Although players have seen the enemy in other places like the Archon Quest, farmable Tenebrous Mimifloras are located only in Ochkanatlan.

Here’s how players can locate all Tenebrous Mimesis on the southern side of Ochkanatlan:

  • First, go to Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven, then go to the western shore.
  • Use the Teleport Waypoint to the west, then go north to find two outside a broken structure below.
  • Go back to the Waypoint, indwell a Qucusaurus, then fly southeast while maintaining a high altitude.
  • Glide down southwest to the shore.
  • Go to the small island northwest.
  • Head back to the Waypoint, indwell a Qucusaurus again, then fly directly west while staying up.
  • Use the Teleport Waypoint to the north, then run north to spot two Tenebrous Mimesis.
  • Head to the western shore.
  • Return to the Waypoint, then go southwest to spot more Tenebrous Mimiflora in Ruin Guard form in Genshin Impact.
  • Continue southwest then southeast to find the rest of the enemies in the area.
  • Once done with the current island, teleport to Teleport Waypoint above the last, then go southwest.

For the middle and northern part of Ochkanatlan, players can refer to the following Tenebrous Mimiflora farming route:

  • Warp to Vucub Caquix Tower Teleport Waypoint, then head southwest, then southeast.
  • Use the Ashflow Street Teleport Waypoint, then go north to find one Tenebrous Mimiflora location.
  • Keep going north to spot three more enemies.
  • Return to the Ashflow Street Teleport Waypoint, then glide east to find two Tenebrous Mimesis together.
  • Glide down to the shore west to locate one more Tenebrous enemy in Genshin Impact.
  • Cross the water by going southeast.
  • Indwell a Qucusaurus and use the portal to be launched up. Fly east to the next island and find the next enemy on the shore.
  • Use the Teleport Waypoint to the north, then walk southeast to find a Qucusaurus transformation; indwell it to fly northwest. Keep in mind that this enemy is a little buggy, so if players don’t find it atop the cliff, they can try relogging for the enemy to appear.


Next, here’s how players can find the Tenebrous Mimiflora around the Craddle of Fleeting Dreams:

  • Warp to the southeastern Craddle of Fleeting Dreams Teleport Waypoint, then glide east.
  • Go west and spot a Tenebrous Mimesis by the waterfall.
  • Head back to the same Waypoint, but this time head northeast; the enemy is inside a broken tower.
  • Use the southwestern Craddle of Fleeting Dreams Teleport Waypoint, then plunge down south.
  • Head to the northwestern Craddle of Fleeting Dreams Teleport Waypoint, then head up the stairs northeast; the Tenebrous Mimiflora should be at the end of the platform.
  • Finally, go to the Waypoint to the north and head east and west for two more enemies.

There are two respawning Tenebrous Mimiflora in the underground area where players do the Open Your Heart To Me quest in Genshin Impact:


  • Warp to the Old Core of Chu’ulel Teleport Waypoint, then go southeast to spot an enemy in the Where the Ancient Race of Yore Ruled layer.
  • Go north to the Ancient Ruins Walkway layer to find one more Tenebrous Mimesis.

  • Go north to fight the first Tenebrous Mimesis.
