PC gamers can claim Brotato for free on the Epic Games Store until December 5 at 11:00 AM EST. Brotato is a popular PC game acclaimed by gamers and critics alike, and this is the last chance that Epic Games Store users will have to snatch it for free.

Inspired by Vampire Survivors, Brotato is a top-down roguelike game released in 2023, and it quickly became a popular hit. With Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on platforms such as Steam, Brotato has recently become even better. A new update recently added co-op to Brotato, allowing gamers to play with up to three friends at the same time.

Gamers can currently claim Brotato only until December 5 at 11:00 AM EST. To do it, they need to log in to their Epic Games Store account and claim the title within the deadline. Brotato’s free offering was originally revealed on November 28, when the game replaced Beholder. While the version being offered on the Epic Games Store does not come with the recent Abyssal Terrors DLC, which comes with a new map, 14 characters, and 16 weapons, gamers can still enjoy all the content from the free co-op update.

When Brotato stops being offered, two new games will be free on the Epic Games Store: Bus Simulator 21 and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Bus Simulator 21, as its name implies, is a game where the player drives a bus. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga unites two massively popular IPs, but it was criticized for having severe technical issues when it was released. Fortunately, most of the worst issues in the game have been patched up by now, and it is a good pick for fans of LEGO games. These games will be available to claim until December 12, and it’s currently unknown what the Epic Games Store will offer next. However, every December the PC gaming store offers daily free mystery games until the New Year, so it’s possible that this traditional promotion will start by then.

Gamers who miss the Epic Games Store giveaway can still play Brotato on PC if they are Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Brotato entered Game Pass last year, and can currently be played on all subscription tiers. However, considering that Brotato was added in January 2024, it’s possible that it could be removed next month, as titles are often taken off the service at dates such as one or two years after they have been added to the service.
