New Bleach Game Locks Down Release Date

Bleach Rebirth of Souls just confirmed a March 21, 2025 release date that’s getting gamers hyped to see the series return to consoles after a decade. Bleach Rebirth of Souls is 3D action fighting game set to have plenty of content updates. The fact that there does appear to be a planned roadmap for content updates late on has people wondering whether more arcs from the Bleach series could be added as DLC, or if a sequel would cover leftover content, provided the game does well.

Fans have expressed their excitement about seeing Bleach Rebirth of Souls at all. After the original Bleach anime ended, many thought that there wouldn’t be much more left to do with one of the best 2000s anime. Eventually, the show’s story was followed up with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, covering the manga’s final arc, and now that it’s airing, it seems like the floor is open for even more Bleach content like Rebirth of Souls. After the game’s announcement caught many Bleach fans off guard, they have been eagerly anticipating more information.

Barring any unexpected delays, it looks like Bandai Namco is going to have several major video game releases in the first half of 2025.

A March 21, 2025 release date has been revealed for Bleach Rebirth of Souls, along with a closer look at the game’s content. The new trailer for Bleach Rebirth of Souls shows off more of the game’s stylized cel-shaded 3D art style while glimpsing at some of the most iconic clashes in the series, building up to a tease for infamous series villain Sosuke Aizen.

Bleach Rebirth of Souls Gets Release Date Trailer

Bleach Rebirth of Souls appears to be covering the beginning of the series up until the Arrancar arc that ends in Ichigo’s clash with Aizen, which is a cause of concern among some players who have experienced this story arc in previous Bleach games and media many times before and may want to get to some of the other stories that happen later, like the Fullbring and Thousand-Year Blood War arcs. There does seem to be a chance for more, based on what the game has teased so far. Along with a Season Pass for additional content, Bandai Namco has shown off a Thousand-Year Blood War costume set as a pre-order bonus for Bleach Rebirth of Souls.

For those interested in more than the pre-order bonus, gamers who claim the Ultimate Edition of the game will get five Rebirth of Souls costumes and five Thousand-Year Blood War costumes. These players will also have access to the Season Pass, an early access week of gameplay, and Soul Crystals that can be used to upgrade character abilities. The trailer has teased that there will be even more Bleach Rebirth of Souls reveals, with the current focus on Sosuke Aizen and Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, Shigekuni Genryusai Yamamoto.
