Due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, The Sandman‘s season two was put on pause, but thankfully, after only a month of waiting in the shadows, the comic book adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s graphic novel, saw the ball rolling again as production once again resumed. In The Sandman‘s second season, fans can expect to see narratives from Gaiman’s volume The Season of Mists and Brief Lives, in which viewers will be taken to the underworld of Hades, Ancient Greece, Elizabethan England, and the French Revolution, as well as encounter demons, fairies, and gods. Although Death, the second oldest of the Endless, played a fairly significant albeit shorter role in season one, The Sandman season two promises more episodes with Dream’s wiser sister.
