With so many MCU projects slated to release throughout 2025, this feels a little like the calm before the storm that will be a very busy year for superhero movies. Lego will be kicking off 2025 by returning to the MCU’s roots. Its next Marvel Lego set is the comic book’s iconic red and white logo with Minifigures modeled after the cinematic multiverse’s original five Avengers.
A Lego set that’s just a big red and white block might not sound all that exciting, even if that block represents almost a century of comic books and superheroes. This is no ordinary Marvel logo, though. Not only does it come with Minifigures of Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Hulk, and Thor based on the way they looked in the first Avengers movie, but the set has been designed to make it look like those heroes are bursting out of it.

Once complete, the set will have five positions on which the Avengers can be attached. Once in position, the quintet can be pushed into the set, hidden away until you press one, two, or all three of the buttons on the set that will make them burst out. I’m assuming that one of the buttons controls the top hatch out of which three Avengers will appear, and the other two buttons are for the secret compartments on each side.

The MCU’s Original Avengers Will Burst Out Of It Once You’re Done
The store page assures those who like the look and sound of this new Marvel set that the heroes can be easily returned to their starting positions after they’ve burst out of their hidden compartments. While the novelty of the set is that its Minifigures can leap out of it like real superheroes, it is a substantial and challenging build too. Despite just being a block, between its inner mechanics, 12+ age recommendation, and almost 1,000 pieces, it might not be as straightforward a set to build as it appears.
The Marvel logo Lego set already has its own store page, but it’s not yet available to buy. It will be released on January 1, 2025, which is when Lego kicks back into gear again after having a toned-down December. Between Fortnite’s first Lego sets and the X-Men ’97 Mansion, a lot of new stuff was released during the build to the holidays. Now we wait until the Marvel Logo, Mario Kart, Super Shadow, and more sets become available on New Year’s Day.
