How to upgrade Infinity Nikki outfits
You can upgrade outfits using the ‘Glow Up’ feature, which automatically unlocks after you speak to Tan Youyou during the ‘First Meeting at Stoneville’ main story quest.
You can upgrade individual pieces, or level up a whole outfit at once. This increases all the stats attached to your selected pieces, but the main stat will receive the largest stat boost.
Each upgrade requires a set amount of Bling, Thread of Purity, and Shiny Bubbles. You can find all of these materials in the Realm of Escalation. Interact with any Warp Spire to access it, and use the Altar of Escalation to trade materials and energy for whichever you might need.
Given the relative scarcity of these upgrade materials, we recommend you hold off on leveling up any outfits until you fail a styling challenge. It’s also most beneficial to level up a single outfit per style, letting you rely upon a single outfit for multiple styling challenges with similar themes. This is not always possible, but it will help you save on resources, especially in the early game.
Once you fully upgrade an entire four-star or five-star outfit, you can redeem a Resonite Crystal or Revelation Crystal to spend on Infinity Nikki banners. While individual pieces won’t net you any gacha currency, they cost far less to upgrade, and may be worthwhile if you’re in a styling challenge with a highly specific theme.
