Sometimes, you just really need that extra combat boost.

You will have increased odds of obtaining both myth memories during the Drakeshadow pool event, but will not be able to obtain either memory once the event ends. You need to obtain both memories to unlock all chapters of Sylus’s Myth in the Falling For You tab of the Memory menu. Once you have both memories, you will also unlock Sylus’s Combat companion, Sylus: Abysm Sovereign.

The event period runs from
December 02 to 4:59 December 16, 2024
. After the event ends, you
will not
be able to obtain any of the associated memories.

Event Memories

Unlike most event Wish Pools, Where Drakeshadows Fall features not one but two special five-star memories. Because this pool introduces Sylus’s second Myth story — a multi-chapter interactive story that details your very first past life with Sylus — you must pull both memories to be able to play the myth.

Once you have both myth memories, you
unlock Sylus: Abysm Sovereign
as a combat companion. You will also
receive a myth weapon
to use when with Sylus: Abysm Sovereign in battle. You can purchase the accompanying player myth outfits in the shop
using Crystals.

Pulling both myth memories can be resource-intensive, but it is possible. Saving your Diamonds until the last few days of the event is one way that you can get more pulls without spending money on event packs.

Sylus: Abysm Sovereign Combat Companion

After you’ve pulled both myth memories, you will earn Sylus: Abysm Sovereign as a permanent combat companion. You can use Sylus: Abysm Sovereign by selecting him from the companion selection screen before entering battle.

While you
don’t
need to use the myth-specific sword, Fiend Reaper, that comes with Abysm Sovereign, it does
complement this companion nicely
in battle. Also, it just looks really cool.

The player weapon, Fiend Reaper is a powerful single-target greatsword that offers impressive DPS and healing abilities. You can only use Fiend Reaper with Sylus: Abysm Sovereign.

combat boosts.

reduces the DMG
you take by eight percent. Additionally, after the

[Abyssal Fury]
state ends, you and Sylus will

restore twenty percent of your maximum HP
.Upon reaching

Duo Rank One
(meaning you have

ranked the pair once
) you will receive a

twenty percent Ardent Oath boost
. Additionally, after casting the skill

Energy Charge cap is increased
by one and, after using

[Wrath Judgment]
or

[Wrath Judgment: Greed]

), your

team DMG is increased
by an additional eight percent and, when you cast

[Wrath Judgment: Greed]
, both you and Sylus will

regain 50 percent of your maximum HP.
Additionally, at

Duo Rank Three, [Life Sacrifice]
requires

no charge
while you are in

[Abyssal Fury]
and your Active Skills will deal an

additional 30 percent DMG
to targets.

To earn all Duo Rank boosts and rewards, you need to
pull at least four copies
of each of the event memories. The first memory counts as the
baseline,
and you need
three more copies
to rank to all additional levels.

During the event, you can also earn two four-star memories and one three-star memory associated with Sylus’s Myth. However, each of these memories cannot be obtained through the Wish Pool, but by completing tasks in the accompanying event, Abyssal Splendor.

During the Abyssal Splendor event, you can earn the four-star memory pair Sylus: Reckless Living and Sylus: Bloodnight Drift; and the three-star memory Sylus: Bloodnight Blaze.

Sylus: Bloodnight Blaze can be fully ranked by purchasing memory copies in the event shop, but the two four-star memories can be obtained through Galaxy Explorer once the event has ended.

Event Pool Pull Rewards

Unfortunately, this event’s pull rewards system isn’t quite as rewarding as previous banners have been, and there isn’t a pity system either.

There are only three reward levels to the Drakeshadow pool, but upon reaching the final level, you will receive one Dragon Vale’s Crate, which allows you to select one of the event memories of your choosing.

The pull rewards are as follows:

50 pulls

5 Deepspace Wish: Limited

100 pulls

5 Deepspace Wish: Limited

150 pulls

Dragon Vale’s Crate

If you need more Deepspace Wishes to pull from the Wish Pool, you can use event currency from the concurrently running Abyssal Splendor event to purchase ten Deepspace Wish: Limited. The Developers also sent out twenty free pulls to every player, ten of which are regular Deepspace Wishes that can be banked for future banners.

Current And Upcoming Events

The Abyssal Splendor event runs alongside Where Drakeshadows Fall and ties in closely with the story of Sylus’s Myth. Abyssal Splendor offers a multitude of rewards as well as some unique investigation interactions that shine a little more light on Sylus and his past.

The next major event on the way is the release of Xavier’s main story branch, as well as an exclusive limited investigation event offering a five-star Xavier memory. While the specifics of the event have not been officially released, we can expect it to follow a similar format to Island Secrets and Chansia Journey.

The update that unveiled Sylus’s myth also included a new World Underneath story, Mischief, to the main storyline. The story follows the antics of Luke and Kieran, Sylus’s loyal henchmen.
