While filming for season 2 was believed to have begun last month, a new photo shared on the official Fallout on Prime social media accounts confirms that the cast is back and ready for action.
Fallout Season 2 Has Officially Begun Filming
Fallout Season 2 has been moving at a rapid pace for a while now. In July, it was reported that “scripts were in hands,” and in October at New York Comic Con, Fallout actor Leslie Uggams suggested that Fallout Season 2 would begin filming at some point in November, but nothing was confirmed by the cast or production team.
Now, the show’s official social media accounts have confirmed that the cast is on set and shooting. A photo of Walton Goggins having his prosthesis done for his role as The Ghoul/Cooper Howard has been posted for the world to see, suggesting things are well and truly underway.
The image was posted alongside one of the most famous lines from the show, “Feo fuerte y formal,” which literally translates to “he was ugly, strong and had dignity,” a transformation that Goggins regularly undergoes while shooting.
Goggin’s portrayal as one of the show’s protagonists was lauded, earning him multiple award nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmy Awards.
With little else to go on, rumors and speculation about Fallout Season 2 have started. Late last month, pictures of one of the series’ new sets reportedly leaked, adding further fuel to the fire that it would take place in New Vegas.
The reported photos showed a deserted motel and a sign for ‘Novac’, one of the game’s core locations. A few days later, a second photo was leaked, seemingly showing the Great Khans.
While the set photos have never been verified, they certainly look Fallout-esque, and it would be no surprise to see Season 2, or at least parts of it, set in the locales of one of the franchise’s most popular titles.
