Elden Ring’s Arm Of Malenia Statues Are Arriving Broken

Elden Ring's Arm Of Malenia Statues Are Arriving Broken

Key Takeaways

  • Elden Ring fans who bought the expensive Arm of Malenia collector’s statue are having their purchases arrive on their doorsteps broken.
  • Several fans have shared image of their broken statues on the Elden Ring subreddit, with even more claiming they also received theirs broken.
  • A fan-conducted poll claims that a whopping 18 arms have arrived damaged in some way, though there’s no way to verify these results.

Elden Ring has plenty of pricey merch out there for you to stick on your shelves or tables to show off your love for the game, but one of the pricier items out there is the Arm of Malenia Replica statues. It’s exactly what you’d expect, that being a replica of Malenia, Blade of Miquella’s arm that will set you back almost $400.

It’s a pretty neat collector’s item, and not a cheap one at that, which is why so many people are now finding themselves extremely disappointed now that the statue is finally arriving at doorstops. On the Elden Ring subreddit earlier this week, a user called Calebh04 shared an image of their statue that had been completely wrecked in transit.

In the post, they explained that they reached out to customer support, only to get a “generic email” in response. You can see from the image above that their statue has been completely shattered, with no amount of superglue fixing that one. In the replies to Calebh04’s post, another user called Weju also shared an image of their broken statue, though theirs is slightly cleaner and could be repaired.

You could pass this off as a coincidence, but earlier today, yet another user called WatermelonChef shared an image of their broken Malenia arm on the Elden Ring subreddit, and yet another user called Miss_Cryptid1 explained that theirs arrived broken too. That’s four Arms of Malenia arriving broken, which is pretty bad considering this thing is worth hundreds of dollars.

In fact, it seems as though these arms arriving broken is more likely than them arriving intact. According to a poll set up by Calebh04 to see how many people have been affected, 18 of them have been delivered broken, while 10 have arrived in perfect condition. Of course, this is a fan-made poll, so its findings could be false, but it’s clear there’s a problem of some kind when there shouldn’t really be any for products worth up to $400.

As for what’s causing the issue, it could be down to cheap materials or inadequate packaging – it’s impossible right now to tell for sure. Either way, here’s hoping that the places these arms were bought can ship out replacements, or some refunds at the very least.
