Although the main game mode in Supervive involves teams of four battling it out, Theorycraft Games also provides you with the option of tackling battles with a two-person team in Duos. However, considering the drastic change in dynamics that comes from switching from the Squads mode to Duos, some characters may prove to be more or less effective depending on the combinations that you put them in.
On a roster of 16 Hunters, some work better in a bigger team, whereas others become more useful as part of a duo, and it’s important to know which two characters have the right synergy with one another if you and your partner want to wreak havoc on the opposition.
8 Felix And Kingpin
Felix may not be the go-to choice for many Supervive players but combine him with a character with brute force like Kingpin, and you have yourself an unstoppable duo on the battlefield. While Felix can keep on distracting enemies with his long-ranged flame attacks, Kingpin can find an opening to get close to the opponent to grab and bring them closer to finish the job.
Of course, the combination can work the other way around too, as you can use Kingpin to dash towards the enemy and take all of their attention, while Felix can use his weapons to shoot at them and constantly deplete their health.
7 Celeste And Void
You might think that having two Controllers on your Duos team may not be the most effective approach, but the combination of Celeste and Void can end up being quite frustrating for the enemy. For starters, both of them come with plenty of projectile attacks that you can keep hitting enemies with from a distance, annoying them in the process and forcing them to make a mistake at some point as a reaction.
Fortunately, Celeste also comes with mobility and defensive abilities to counter any incoming attacks, while Void keeps up on the offensive front, making the duo a force to be reckoned with in Supervive.
6 Bishop And Felix
Keeping on your toes and moving fast can make or break any Supervive match, which is where Bishop and Felix both excel as they deal significant damage to the opposing team. Bishop has unmatched mobility that makes her one of the best Hunters in the game, and combined with her ability to use both ranged and melee attacks, pairing her up with a long-ranged menace like Felix can be pretty devastating for your enemies.
Both Initiators tackle situations similarly, as they inflict damage even as they jump to steer clear of the opposition, and with Felix’s Heat Shield thrown into the mix, it is a duo that deserves to be given a chance.
5 Joule And Oath
Having an Attacker and a Supporter on your duo can yield the most fruitful results in Supervive, and Joule and Oath make up one of the most potent combinations in the game. While Joule unleashes her electric attacks on the enemy, it is crucial to make sure that she herself stays clear of any harm, which is where a beefy character like Oath comes in to protect her from the opposing duo.
Not only does Oath create strong shields to deflect any incoming attacks, but he also has healing abilities to balance out Joule’s more offensive approach, which results in the duo working perfectly on both the attacking and defensive fronts together.
4 Bishop And Celeste
A Hunter like Celeste, who can slow enemies down with her ice abilities, paired with a character like Bishop, who is known for her fast-paced mobility and attacks, is a match made in Supervive heaven. The combination can be quite deadly when Bishop distracts enemies with her rockets while Celeste either creates her defensive wall or tries her best to hinder the opposition’s movement to give her partner more chances to hit her targets.
Celeste’s contributions to the duo especially come in handy considering that some of Bishop’s attacks, like the Haymaker, leave her vulnerable to damage if they do not hit the enemy, making it essential to ensure that the opposing team does not move around too much.
3 Joule And Kingpin
While Kingpin is not technically a Supporter, most of his abilities can leave the opponents stunned, making him an Initiator who can provide better support than characters who officially fall under that category. That makes him extremely helpful for an Attacker like Joule, as Kingpin can keep stunning the enemies to ensure that the majority of Joule’s attacks land directly on the target.

Kingpin is a jack of all trades. Tank, damage, and great fight initiation. Here’s the best gear, skill upgrade order, and general gameplay tips.
You can also use Joule to keep the enemy occupied until Kingpin finds the chance to get close to them, creating a constructive cycle of attack, grab or slam, stun, and repeat.
2 Oath And Shrike
Shrike may not be the best character to use in Supervive’s four-team modes, but she’s one of the strongest Hunters when part of a duo, as the kind of damage that she inflicts is basically unmatched in the game, especially when she is not occupied trying to deal with too many enemies. To take care of that problem, Oath comes in to provide some much-needed support while the Attacker keeps the opponents busy with her long-ranged attacks.
Oath’s shield and stunning abilities also prove effective when you need to move your Shrike near the enemy, increasing the rate of damage that her weapons can do at close range.
1 Kingpin And Shrike
One of the deadliest combos in Supervive’s Duos mode is Kingpin and Shrike, as you can use the former to grab and stun your enemies, while the latter can inflict massive damage on the affected opponents. You can also use Shrike’s Scout Hawk ability to let your partner know exactly where the enemy is positioned, making it easy for Kingpin to locate and choose between slamming, shooting, or grabbing them.
It’s a combination that is highly productive on the battlefield due to the level of contrast that comes with it, and with this duo, you can rest assured that both your offense and defense are well taken care of.
