If you’re wondering about when Delta Force will release on console, you’re not alone. The sleeper hit of 2024 is coming out very soon, but only for select platforms. PC is included in that, and it’s where the majority of players will be able to get the game. Unfortunately, that leaves Xbox and PlayStation users on the outside looking in. How long will they have to do that? Here’s what we know about the console release.
Delta Force Console Release Date
The initial release date for Delta Force is December 5. This is being considered an open beta, but truthfully, it’s more of an early access period. The game is mostly finished and the content there will carry over once it gets a wide release for other platforms. Those platforms include PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
As for the console release date, there isn’t a hard one yet. The latest intel suggests that it will be sometime in quarter one of 2025, which makes sense. If the game is practically finished, then an early December release date for PC would imply that a console launch is not far behind.
Quarter one ends April 1, 2025, so players can expect it by then (hopefully). The developers haven’t set a specific date within that time frame, but that still only means players have to wait a maximum of almost four full months to get their hands on it. It’s unfortunate since PC gamers, as long as they hit the system requirement minimums, can get it as soon as Thursday (Dec. 5), but it’s still not far off.
Developers have stated that they plan to release updates for the game every three months. That would mean the launch may well coincide with a major update. If that timeline is to be believed, then March 5 or so makes sense for a console launch of Delta Force. Again, this is all speculative as Team Jade has not officially stated anything other than the loose release window.
