SevenPirates, the creator of Ark of War and City Arena has announced their upcoming adventure RPG, Kardmi. The game is currently available as soft launch in Indonesia for Android devices.

Kardmi is a 3D monster-capturing adventure RPG set in the expansive continent of Gerdon. In this game, you take on the role of a trainer, catching, training, and battling with adorable creatures known as Kardmis, each possessing unique and powerful abilities. As you progress, these characters also go through evolution and become even stronger. I hope The Pokémon Company or Nintendo don’t come after them.
I found the name Kardmi quite interesting, blending Card and Amigo, a Spanish word for friend, which is a nicely thought-out name. While there are various similarities to Pokémon, such as challenging Gym leaders and the goal to become the strongest trainer and everything in between, it still looks interesting.
Plus, you can explore a variety of landscapes, like charming European towns, tropical beaches, bustling cities, and more to catch these cute monsters without depending on Gacha. Additionally, there are more than 100 Skill Cards that you can collect and help your monsters learn skills from.

As for the Kardmis, the game features 9 distinct types: Water, Fire, Grass, Electric, Wind, Ground, Fighting, Dark, and Psychic. They are for sure getting a lawsuit. Apart from the similarities, you can discover more than 20 unique personalities for your kardmis.
I am particularly intrigued by the Type Reaction system which looks very cool in my eyes, each type reacting with others to create exciting effects. For instance, combining Water and Electric types causes Paralysis and slows enemies, while Fire and Wind types can deal Burn damage and reduce enemy kardmi’s ATK.
Kardmi is currently available as a soft launch on Android in Indonesia. You can download and try out the game from the Google Play Store. There is no information available about an iOS release or a global release. Stay tuned in this space for future updates on the game.
