This guide will show gamers how they can get through the first six quests in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, and it’ll also give them some pointers and tips so they can finish them without too much trouble.
Kendo’s Calling Quests have six stages, which means players have to finish six quests to complete this first phase of Story Quests in Fortnite. Each stage is worth 25,000 XP, so gamers can rack up a total of 150,000 XP (nearly 2 account levels) if they complete them all. Here’s how to do it
Stage 1 – Speak to Kendo About the Invading Demons
Where to Find Kendo in Fortnite
Demon Warriors have spawned all over the Battle Royale island, and gamers must talk to Kendo about this issue. To find Kendo in Fortnite, gamers must go to Sakura Plunge, a landmark located between Twinkle Terrace and Nightshift Forest.
It is impossible to talk to Kendo while he is fighting the Demon Warrior that spawns at this location, so players will have to eliminate it beforehand. Once that’s taken care of, gamers will be able to freely interact with Kendo.
Stage 2 – Damage Demons (350)
Demon Locations in Fortnite
There are eight locations on the Fortnite island where Demon Warriors can spawn:
- Flooded Frogs
- Burd to Go (North of Pumped Power)
- Lost Lake
- Sakura Plunge (Southeast of Twinkle Terrace)
- Overlook Lighthouse (Northeast of Shining Span)
- Kappa Kappa Farm (Northwest of Hopeful Heights)
- Spiral Shoots (South of Masked Meadows)
- Shogun’s Solitude
Gamers must head to any of these locations and inflict a total of 350 damage on them. Sakura Plunge is the only location where a single demon will spawn; everywhere else, there will be two weaker Demon Grunts accompanied by a stronger Demon Warrior. Additionally, gamers can also visit Forecast Towers to find more demons, but these only spawn later in the game.
Demon Portals don’t always open, so gamers will want to check their map and look for the Demon Warrior marker to see where they will spawn during the match.
Stage 3 – Place Spirit Charms to Learn About Magic (3)
Where to Place Spirit Charms in Fortnite
There are 12 possible locations where players can place Spirit Charms in Fortnite:
Magic Mosses has three Spirit Charm placement locations, so if gamers want to get through this quest quickly, that’s where they’ll want to go.
Stage 4 – Collect Residual Essence around Warrior’s Watch, Demon’s Dojo, or Shogun’s Solitude (5)
Where to Find Residual Essence in Fortnite
Three Residual Essences will spawn at Shogun’s Solitude, Demon’s Dojo, and Warrior’s Watch. Since players have to grab five in total, they will have to at least visit two locations to complete the quest.
Stage 5 – Eliminate Demons to Collect Fresh Essence (10)
How to Collect Fresh Essence in Fortnite
During this fifth stage, gamers will once again have to hunt down Demon Grunts and Warriors. At the start of the match, players need to make note of where the demons will spawn and head there. Unfortunately, each demon only drops 1 Essence, so gamers must repeat this until they’ve eliminated a total of ten demons.
Demon-slaying quests will be particularly difficult to complete during the first days following the release of Kendo’s Calling Quests, as
only seven demons spawn at the start of each match
, and most gamers will be gunning for them. Later on, two Forecast Towers will spawn, and each one will have three demons protecting it. Therefore, in total
13 demons spawn per Battle Royale game
.
Stage 6 – Give Hope the Collected Essence
Where to Find Hope in Fortnite
Lastly, gamers have to go to Hopeful Heights, on the northwestern corner of the map, and talk to Hope.
