While exploring the world of Infinity Nikki, you’ll notice a weather/time of day icon underneath the mini-map in the top-left corner of the screen. For example, if there’s a sun icon, that means it’s daytime and typically the early part of the day, and if it’s later in the night, you’ll see a moon take the place of the sun.




Infinity Nikki’s day and night cycle actually isn’t just for looks -there are some things Nikki won’t be able to do unless it’s a certain time of the day. You’ve come to the right place if you’re wondering if there’s a way to manually pass the time without waiting around.

How to Unlock the Pear-Pal in Infinity Nikki

Basically, you won’t be able to affect the time of day in Infinity Nikki until you get to the Chapter 1 quest, Land of Wishes. Luckily, this is the game’s intro and takes Nikki to the Guild to register herself as a true Stylist.

Before entering the Stylist Guild, interact with the teleporter in front of the building to gain a new fast-travel location.


Dada will gift Nikki a device called the Pear-Pal. Once you leave the facility, look at the new icon in the top-left corner of the screen and press the button to open the device’s menu.

How to Change the Time of Day in Infinity Nikki

Once you’re in the menu, you’re going to want to click on the ‘Run, Pear-Pal‘ application (it’s to the left of the Compendium).

Next, set the time of day you want, and then you’ll be thrown into a little 2D side-scrolling Flappy Bird-esque minigame. You actually don’t even need to do well in the game — you just have to wait until the 30 seconds elapses.

However, you can try to beat your high score by collecting as many fruits as possible while avoiding the purple cloud monsters.

Once the game ends, the time will have been changed in Infinity Nikki. It seems that there’s no limit to how many times you can do this, too.
