Big New GTA Online Update Coming on December 10

Key Takeaways

  • GTA Online December 10 update features new story, missions, and cars for players to enjoy.
  • Agents of Sabotage DLC arriving on December 10 includes new vehicle options and missions.

A new update is arriving in Grand Theft Auto Online on December 10, giving players some new story, robberies, cars, and more to check out. This will be the biggest update that GTA Online has received since the Bottom Dollar Bounties update released back in June.

At time of writing, GTA Online players are keeping busy with The Heist Challenge, which kicked off in November and will run through December 4. In addition to a number of bonuses and discounts, the challenge tasks players with earning a staggering total of $20 trillion through the completion of heist finales. As of December 3, the community had successfully reached $15 trillion, but it’s not yet known if the goal will be met before the closure of the event.

Rockstar Dev Teases ‘Mind-Blowing’ GTA 6

It seems Rockstar Games is quite confident in GTA 6, as one developer hints at “mind-blowing” ambitions for the upcoming open-world title.

While players hustle to earn the last $5 trillion to complete the challenge, Rockstar Games is already teasing the next influx of content to the online GTA component. Rockstar has revealed GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage, which will arrive on December 10. The new DLC will see players return to Lester’s old haunt, the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, as they work with ex-FIB agent Jodi Marshall on a series of “thrilling and strategic new robberies.” The game update will also see the return of familiar and friendly face Pavel from the Cayo Perico heist, returning to the story after four years.

GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage Will Include New Vehicle Options

As one might expect, this new content will add some new liveries and and vehicle variants. This includes the Bravado Banshee GTS, a police version of the Coquette D10, and a FIB-specific Terrorbyte. This is in addition to the Police Predator that will be given away for free if the Heist Challenge is successfully completed.

At the moment, much of the specifics regarding this DLC are currently unknown. Aside from a brief teaser trailer, Rockstar hasn’t said a whole lot about the update. However, fan reactions to the news have been mixed at best. The majority of players seem to be upset that there still hasn’t been a second trailer released for Grand Theft Auto 6, which is on most fans’ minds. After waiting for so many years, it’s understandable that players are getting frustrated and tired of waiting to learn more about the game. However, some have also expressed appreciation for Rockstar’s efforts in GTA Online, as the game could likely continue to generate significant revenue for the company with no further major updates. At the very least, this DLC will give GTA fans something to work toward while the wait continues.
