Pokemon TCG Pocket: Best Machamp Deck Build

Pokemon TCG Pocket: Best Machamp Deck Build

Pokemon TCG Pocket enables players to create a digital collection of Pokemon cards by opening booster packs, crafting cards, and selecting from Wonder Pick. Players can then use the cards that they have obtained to craft decks and take on AI and other players in a simplified version of the physical Pokemon TCG game.

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, building a solid deck is a key to progressing through the series of AI battles and going head-to-head against other players. One of the many cards that players may choose to build around is the Machamp ex card, with a Machamp deck being one of the very few options to create when it comes to establishing a Fighting Type deck. Players can find out everything they’ll need to know about how to build the best Machamp deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket, including a complete card list to help players get started.

Best Machamp Deck Build in Pokemon TCG Pocket

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Machamp is one of the few Fighting Type ace cards that players can build around, as of Genetic Apex., and the only three-stage Fighting Type Pokemon line in the game, at this point. While this build may not be as competitive as some of the more meta decks, it can still be quite viable if you’re able to get the right cards into play.

The biggest appeal of Machop, Machoke, and Machamp ex is the fact that each card is pretty much good to go and deliver attacks on the very first turn they are summoned into battle, as Machop only needs one Energy, Machoke needs two (and will likely already have at least one from Machop), and Machamp ex only needs three (and will likely already have at least two from Machoke). If you play your cards right, you will be able to get Machampe ex into play and immediately dish out 120 damage per turn.

In addition to the Machamp line, Cubone, and Marowak ex are popular secondary additions to this deck. While Marowak ex’s attack is very hit-or-miss, due to relying completely on coin flips, this Pokemon is capable of fully knocking out a Mewtwo ex if it has a strike of luck. However, if you’re particularly unlucky with your coin flips during this attack, you may also end up doing no damage at all, which will essentially cost you the match – so keep this in mind when you plan to start Cubone and Marowak on the field or switch them into play.

The rest of the deck is compiled of Trainers and Items to both slow down or disrupt your opponent’s play – with Sabrina, to help you get needed cards into your hand and run your strategy – Poke Ball/Professor’s Research and help your active Pokemon remain in play for longer – Potion. In addition to this, Giovanni is a useful card to include, as this can enable Machamp to deliver oneshot several enemies, including some ex cards.
