With Elbaf now having finally been revealed, it is only natural that Oda is providing fans with more information about how this country operates. In One Piece chapter 1132, Oda essentially broke down Elbaf into different regions, and they certainly carry tremendous importance.
The Geography Of Elbaf
Life In Elbaf Is Based On A Huge Tree
Elbaf was introduced to the fans as the land of the Giants, which is perpetually at War. Other than that, fans did not know much about this massive country, but, with the beginning of the Elbaf arc, it was only a matter of time before Oda unveiled the full design of this island and its geography. In One Piece chapter 1131, Oda gave fans a proper glimpse of what the country looked like and essentially, it is a massive tree upon which rests another tree, and the entire country is based around this one giant landmark. This tree houses life on this massive island, and the tree itself is incredibly important as well.
Elbaf is divided into three levels! – Dorry and Brogy
As was made clear to the fans long ago, there exists a massive tree in the world of One Piece that has lived through countless wars and soaked up the blood of the fallen. This tree is incredibly resilient and tough, and it is called the Treasure Tree Adam. It is using the wood of this tree that the ships of the Straw Hat Pirates and the Roger Pirates were made, and this tree is essentially what Elbaf is based on. The design of Elbaf itself is quite mesmerizing. The country is essentially divided into three levels, as was confirmed by Oda in One Piece chapter 1132.
At the very bottom, there are spiky and snowy mountains, and on the second level, there are massive unending villages. The top level seems to be covered and clouds right now, which means that fans know very little about what lies there, but everything about this country, from start to finish, has been absolutely amazing, to say the least.
The Three Levels Of Elbaf
In One Piece chapter 1132, fans saw the Straw Hat Pirates meet up with the New Giant Warrior Pirates of Elbaf. This meeting took place around the village of Dorry and Brogy, which was, once again, absolutely stunning for the fans to witness. There, fans were told about a lot of details regarding the land of Elbaf, and essentially, the three levels of Elbaf were broken down.
The First Level: Underworld
The first level of Elbaf is what the Straw Hat Pirates explored at the very beginning. This is where the Lego Block Castle that Road made was as well. At the same time, this level of Elbaf is filled with snowy mountains and giant peaks. More specifically, fans saw giant animals roaming the forests in the underworld of Elbaf as well. At the very bottom of Elbaf, surrounded by the mountains, there is Prince Loki, who is tied to the Treasure Tree Adam. Luffy and Loki met in the underworld of Elbaf and Loki made it quite clear that the place they were in serves as the execution ground for this country. Criminals are executed there, and that is also why Loki is present in the Underworld. There is likely more to the underworld of Elbaf in One Piece, but given that it has only been a few chapters, fans do not know much about it and its geography. At the very least, what fans know is this is a cold place, full of bloodshed.
The Sun World
The second and, quite possibly, the most important part of Elbaf is the Sun World. This part of Elbaf lies directly above the Underworld, and it is where the vast majority of the villages are housed. Fans previously were told about Elbaf Village existing on the second level of Elbaf. As it turns out, there isn’t just one village in the Sun World. There exist countless villages here, and it is so big that it cannot even be explored properly.

Kishimoto reveals how he was inspired by Oda while writing Naruto. Naruto would have been different without One Piece.
This makes the Sun World of Elbaf truly live up to its name, and it goes to show why this massive country is housed by the Giants in the first place. At the very least, fans got to see the village of Dorry and Brogy, which was stunning, to say the least. The Sun World is also connected by the Rainbow Bridge directly to the bottom level, which is what the Great Eirik and the Straw Hat Pirates used to get up, as seen in One Piece chapter 1132.

The Heaven World
Finally, the very top level of Elbaf is the Heaven World. It is unknown what exactly lies in the heaven world, but the general belief is that the royalty lives there. The castle of King Harald, who was the last king of Elbaf, likely exists there. Whether Elbaf has any King right now or not remains unknown, but if they do, the King and the other royalty are likely situated up on the Heaven World as well. It is also possible that Loki and Hajrudin’s own place is in the Heaven World too, and this place could be directly connected to some Sky Islands. Similarly, the Heaven World could also have some of the biggest secrets of the One Piece World, and, all things considered, this is an incredible chance for Oda to explore a massive country.
Do Elbaf’s Realms Have Any Importance?
Elbaf’s Massive Realms Could Mean Big Things For The Monster Trio
Elbaf’s realms are certainly going to have a lot of importance attached to them. For one, each realm will have its own plot points to drive the story and they will certainly connect to the history of the One Piece world in one way or another. Secondly, The second realm of Elbaf, which is known as the Sun World, is most likely where plot points surrounding the Sun God Nika and Luffy are going to be tackled, as is evident from the name. Fans should also not forget that the Underworld connects heavily to Zoro, and it is possible that plots surrounding Zoro could unravel in this segment of the arc. Finally, fans should also keep in mind that the Heaven Realm is where Sanji could potentially get his moments of shine, and the reason why should be self-explanatory.
Sanji’s fighting style is aerial-based, and even his mother is named Sora, or the sky. As such, it appears that each realm of Elbaf is going to carry a lot of importance for the members of the Monster Trio, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see that.
