Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8 Preview Reveals Goku’s Biggest Battle Yet

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 7, “Collar”, now streaming on Crunchyroll, and potential spoilers for Episode 8, “Tamagami”.

Dragon Ball DAIMA is finally picking up the action as Episode 8 closes in, and it’s going to capitalize on plenty of fantastic worldbuilding that set things up in earlier episodes. The Demon Realm was mostly an unknown in Dragon Ball anime canon, but fans have now gotten to soak in just what makes it so unique. The Demon Realm Dragon Balls are finally within reach, but Goku will have to win his most powerful opponent yet in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8, “Tamagami”.

For many of the earlier episodes, it felt as if DAIMA was content to channel a more adventurous and laid back pace akin to the original Dragon Ball anime. Viewers have only gotten glimpses of what Goku can accomplish in his miniature form, and even the sparring session with Glorio just scratched the surface. By the end of Episode 7, “Collar”, Goku was finally face to face with a real opponent. The Three-Star Demon Realm Dragon Ball is within reach, but it won’t be easy for Goku to defeat Tamagami Number Three.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8 to Feature Super Saiyan Goku vs. Tamagami Number Three

Earlier episode previews for Dragon Ball DAIMA were closer to five or six seconds long, but the Episode 8 preview comes in at double that length with nearly 15 seconds worth of footage that fans will see when the episode is released. Without a doubt, the most exciting part of this preview is seeing the first looks at Goku actually fighting against Tamagami Number Three. Episode 7 ended with their fight just about to begin, and this preview showed plenty of exciting moments. Goku has to contend with Tamagami Number Three’s massive hammer, and the Power Pole will be a huge asset.

Multiple shots in the Episode 8 preview of Dragon Ball DAIMA show Goku using the Power Pole to attack Tamagami Number Three and disrupt his balance. However, one quick shot encapsulates the kind of behemoth Goku is facing. With red beams of power shooting up through the ground, Tamagami Number Three channels his energy in a massive blast. Off to the side, viewers can just barely spot the trademark golden hair of Super Saiyan Goku. It’s not a surprising development, but it shows that Goku will indeed have to start pushing towards the limits of his real power to secure their first Demon Realm Dragon Ball.

While this dominates the Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8 preview, there are also quick looks at several other plotlines. Glorio seems to be reaching back out to Dr. Arinsu, and the next step in Supreme Demon King Gomah’s plan could be set in motion. Degesu is also spotted, but it’s not yet clear exactly how Glorio fits in to that situation. Lastly, there’s one quick shot of Hybis traveling with Vegeta, Piccolo, and Bulma. Goku’s fellow Saiyan may not be thrilled when he arrives to see Goku already hogging one of the best opponents, but fans can be sure that the action is coming in Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 8, “Tamagami”.
