Ravensburger has confirmed the free promo card being given away to moviegoers at Moana 2 screenings in select theaters in the UK will be rolled out in the US starting this weekend. The card will be given to anyone who books tickets to see Moana 2 at Cinemark theaters from December 6 through December 15, 2024. There’s one card per ticket, so no arguing over a single card if you’re taking kids with you, but they will only be available while supplies last.

This isn’t a case of if you miss out on this card then you’ll never have another chance to get it like the Ancient Mew card given out to people seeing the first Pokemon movie – showing my age there, I know. Moana’s Adventurer of Land and Sea card will be included in Disney Lorcana’s seventh set, details of which are currently pretty scarce. The next set doesn’t even have a name or release date yet. That this Moana card will be a part of it is pretty much all we know.
That’s fair since Lorcana only released its sixth set, Azurite Sea a few weeks ago. The latest expansion introduced Baymax to the TCG, kicking off a busy few weeks for the Big Hero 6 star who also joined Fortnite this past weekend. Lorcana sets have been released every three months meaning set number seven will likely be here in February 2025. The contents of Azurite Sea were revealed two months ahead of its arrival which hopefully means we’ll find it more about it this month, maybe after the Moana 2 promo comes to an end.
