Hold up, let me log on and lock in.

However, the player’s progress has caused uproar in the community as it was revealed that they glitched their way to the milestone.

Black Ops 6 Max Level Has Already Been Hit

Shared on Twitter, user Beamishh posted their achievement with a screenshot showing them at Prestige Legend Level 1,000.

However, Beamishh’s achievements were revealed to be shallow after they confirmed they’d used an exploit in the game’s Zombies mode to reach the level. By collecting an exact combination of perks and items, players can leave their console on, and it will automatically level their account for them.

Beamishh was clearly conflicted about their achievement, saying, “There’s nothing impressive about my 1,000” in another tweet.

There’s nothing impressive about my 1,000.

But reaching level 1,000 using glitches wasn’t the only controversy Beamishh caused.

Notoriously, Call of Duty has an unofficial “race to 1,000” in which players, or groups of players, compete to become the first to reach the milestone, revealing the rewards in the process. After reaching 1,000, somebody in Beamishh’s discord shared the level 1,000 rewards, ruining it for those who were trying to do so in legitimate ways.

Nukes Santana, a member of Nuke Squad, shared that he and his team had been grinding for level 1,000 since the game was released. After a month of streaming, Santana shared that his team had reached level 800, just 200 levels shy of their goal.

After seeing Beamishh reach that level, and subsequently share rewards, Santana tweeted: “So saddening to see zombie exploiters ruin the level 1000 rewards @NukeSquad has streamed every single game since the game released and for it to be robbed and posted all over social media is so disheartening. It’s also sad that the company didn’t really do anything about these exploiters even though we all knew what was going on in the background.”

It’s an issue that’s divided the community, with some congratulating Beamishh and others lamenting them. Unfortunately, it’s done now, and the cat’s out of the bag, but there’s always next year.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
