- This comes after he played Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3, another Dungeons & Dragons property.
Because there is no justice in the world, there is no sequel to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves in the works right now. There’s been talk of one, but because it performed poorly at the box office (at least relative to its $150 million budget), anything we do get will be on a smaller scale.
However, if a sequel is eventually greenlit, then there’s already another actor who would like to appear in the movie. Dave Jones, who plays Halsin in Baldur’s Gate 3, has put his name forward for a Dungeons & Dragons movie, agreeing that it deserves a sequel.

This comes from a Baldur’s Gate 3 panel at MCM Comic Con Birmingham this weekend, in which several actors from the game discussed the parts they played, and what other roles they’d love to take in other projects.
Here, Jones revealed that he’d like to be in a sequel to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, while adding: “It was a really good film; I can’t see them not making another.”

He wasn’t the only actor to share their other dream roles. Emma Gregory, who plays Minthara, commented that she’d love to be in a Marvel project. She’d also like to be in Alan Wake, so who knows? Maybe we’ll hear Minthara’s menacing voice in another piece of DLC.
This wasn’t the only reveal we got from the Baldur’s Gate 3 panel. Neil Roberts, who plays one of the Tav voice sets, also revealed that he had no idea that the game was so naughty. The raunchiness of the romances came as quite a surprise, since different actors were brought in to make the various… noises we hear in those scenes.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is the long-awaited next chapter in the Dungeons & Dragons-based series of RPGs. Developed by Divinity creator Larian Studios, it puts you in the middle of a mind flayer invasion of Faerûn, over a century after the events of its predecessor.
