However, one particular game mode has been one of the newest HoYoverse game’s most popular.

“Hollow Zero” has been a fan-favorite game mode within Zenless Zone Zero since its launch, with numerous expansions added since its debut. Hollow Zero tasks players with tackling a combination of the game’s “Explore” and “Combat” commissions, descending through a dungeon and obtaining different “Resoniums” to provide unique buffs. Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases Hollow Zero Expansion

A new leak shared by prominent Zenless Zone Zero leaker New Eridu News Stand is teasing the next expansion to Hollow Zero. The leak shares few details about the actual gameplay of the Hollow Zero expansion, but does confirm that it will boast its own leveling system separate from Hollow Zero’s main levels. The game mode will reportedly feature a level 80 cap for players, with new rewards available for gaining levels in the Hollow Zero expansion. Zenless Zone Zero‘s new Hollow Zero expansion is expected to launch with Version 1.4, scheduled for December 18.


An expansion for Hollow Zero would follow in the footsteps of a previous HoYoverse RPG’s updates to its roguelike game mode. Honkai: Star Rail has featured several new expansions to the game’s “Simulated Universe” game mode, starting with Version 1.3’s “Swarm Disaster” update. The game mode has seen multiple updates since its debut in Honkai: Star Rail, with HoYoverse even releasing an entirely separate Simulated Universe mode called Divergent Universe.
