PC Gamers Can Sign Up for Game Pass At an Incredibly Low Price Right Now
One of the best-ever deals on Xbox Game Pass has returned ahead of Cyber Monday 2024, but only for PC gamers and presumably for a limited time.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time could soon follow suit, which is a possibility hinted at by the Xbox app itself. Specifically, Reddit user SonicFonico has recently noticed that the Xbox app on their Fire TV Stick lists the latest mainline entry in the Crash Bandicoot franchise as an Xbox Game Pass title, even though it’s not. Clicking on its thumbnail, however, redirects them to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy page on the Xbox Store.
Microsoft leaking an unannounced Xbox Game Pass release is well within the realm of possibility. Similar gaffes occurred multiple times in 2024 alone, like when the company sent out a premature notification about My Time at Sandrock coming to Xbox Game Pass back in June. However, this particular case suggests the mention of Crash Bandicoot 4 could have been an error, especially since its Xbox app thumbnail redirects to a different listing. Using artwork from Crash Bandicoot 4 instead of the visually similar Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be an understandable mistake for someone at Microsoft to make.
Crash Bandicoot 4 Is Coming to Xbox Game Pass Sooner Or Later
That notwithstanding, seeing how Microsoft is now in the process of gradually rolling out Activision Blizzard titles to its subscription-based library, Crash Bandicoot 4 will have to come to Xbox Game Pass sooner or later. This month seems as good a time as any for that to happen, especially since Xbox Game Pass currently has only two confirmed titles for December 2024. Granted, the first wave of its monthly roster has yet to be officially announced, which is likely to happen on or around Tuesday, December 3.
Whenever Crash Bandicoot 4 makes its way to the service, it’s safe to assume that it will be available on everything from XGP Ultimate and PC Game Pass to XGP Standard, on account of not being a day-one release. For now, Microsoft’s subscribers can next look forward to Overthrown and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which are scheduled to expand the XGP library on December 5 and December 9, respectively.
