The Giant Turtle in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is adorable, rewarding with a plethora of loot, and also just a pretty cool spot to drop from the Battle Bus. While this century-old turtle doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, it’s still a landmark that Battle Royale players need to check out in the latest Fortnite season.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 brings a new cute friend along for the ride within its Japanese aesthetics, and the Great Turtle is a hidden landmark that some players might not know about, but all who find this place of tranquility won’t want to leave unless it’s to get that beautiful dub.
Giant Turtle Location in Fortnite
The Giant Turtle in Fortnite can be found between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs once players head South. The Giant Turtle is a tad obscured in the forest, but the image above shows the exact location where players can find this great beast. When it comes to climbing the Great Turtle, players can simply jump up its shell. On top of the Turtle’s shell will be a bounty of chests, usually an Elemental Chest which can drop a Boon and a Typhoon Blade.
At the head of the turtle’s shell will also be a Launch Pad so players can glide away in case of any dangers. If players are worried at all about the Giant Turtle dying, then they don’t have to worry, since the Turtle is immune to storm damage and bullet damage.
There is also a secret NPC who often wanders to the Giant Turtle, and he will sell the Oni Shotgun (Rare) for 200 Gold, and to those with the Shotgun Expertise completion, he will sell the Oni Shotgun (Legendary). Players can also ask him about the Great Turtle, as well as a Sea Dragon, perhaps hinting at Godzilla’s eventual arrival on the island. Hopefully, Godzilla doesn’t turn the Giant Turtle into turtle soup.
