Where to Find All Sprites

New mechanics grace the Fortnite island with Chapter 6 Season 1, and those who venture deep into the spirit-filled forests will find themselves immersed in the beauty and fun of the Sprites within. Fortnite‘s Sprites act as an adorable addition to the game, and players can interact with them to escape harsh enemies, heal themselves, and just bring a cuddle buddy along in a loadout that will act as a Back Bling until thrown into action.

With three different types of Sprites found in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, it’s pretty important that players know just how each one of them works, and how to find them, as Water, Air, and Earth Sprites can have their own benefits, especially when used alongside a Sprite Shrine.

Where to Find Water Sprites (& What They Do)

• A magical Water Sprite – this curious little creature wants to help you on your adventures! Throw him down to create a circle of healing rain.

Water Sprites are much like their Air Sprite cousins, and they can be found all around the map. They are not rare, but some hot spots where players will be able to find these adorable little creatures will be in the snowy mountains of Demon’s Dojo, the forests of Magic Mosses, and around the Giant Turtle between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs. They are rather common, and rather useful for players who want a decent and cuddly ally.

When thrown, a Water Sprite will release a circle of healing rain that can provide players with an instant 30 Health or 30 Shield depending on what they are missing. Every second, players will regenerate 2 Health or 2 Shield, and players can throw the Water Sprite again to repeat this effect roughly every 20 seconds. They are greatly useful to players who

Where to Find Air Sprites (& What They Do)

• A magical Air Sprite – this whimsical little creature wants to assist you on your adventures! Throw him down to create a vortex of air!

Air Sprites are usually found roaming the Chapter 6 Season 1 map alongside Water Sprites. They can also be found underneath Shogun X’s floating island that appears after the 4th Storm Circle. However, players who want to find them early on in their games should head to the forest areas of the map, like Nightshift Forest and Magic Mosses, where the Air Sprites will usually just roam around waiting for a player to catch them.

Players who have managed to snag an Air Sprite for themselves will be able to throw them down on the floor, which will see them create a vortex of air on the spot like a temporary wind tunnel that can be used to fly up high and glide away. It’s a great way to keep a portable Launch Pad on hand, ready for the moment players want to glide into action, or glide away from it.

Where to Find Earth Sprites (& What They Do)

Earth Sprites are a tad strange when compared to the other Sprites, as they cannot be found running around the map, and they most certainly are not adorable. Earth Sprites can be found in static spawns throughout Fortnite‘s Chapter 6 Season 1 island, and some notable places to look are West of Flooded Frogs or North of Demon’s Dojo.

The spawn rate of the Earth Sprites are extremely low to the point where many players expect this to be a glitch, as the Earth Sprites will appear in Theater Mode, but not actually in-game for Battle Royale.

Earth Sprites are an unusual addition to the Sprite family, as they are not like their Air and Water cousins. Instead, Earth Sprites will remain still in static spots and are noted by their rock formation and tree faces covered in moss. When approaching an Earth Sprite, players can trade an item in their loadout with the Earth Sprite. Trading a weapon of a higher rarity is better for loot since the Earth Sprite will consume what it’s given and then spit out some treasure. Giving the Earth Sprite something like an Epic weapon will see a return of a Legendary weapon at random, providing a high-risk and high-reward gamble between the player and the Earth Sprite.

Where to Find Sprite Shrines

Sprite Shrines are beautiful to look at, and players can easily find them by looking up at the sky and following the white beams of light that act as a beacon. Each Sprite Shrine has around 2 regular chests that can be looted at its spot, and there’s also an additional mechanic that can be activated at the shrine. If players approach the shrine and interact with it, then it will reveal all Sprites in the nearby area:

• Blue icons – Water Sprites
• Yellow icons – Air Sprites

That’s not all, as players can bring a Water or Air Sprite to the Sprite Shrine to return it to the shrine, which will see a plethora of rewards with mainly a random Boon (acts like Augments from Chapter 4 where players will have a random effect, like faster reload or heal in water) and a random Epic rarity weapon. Two Sprites will also jump out of the shrine for players to pick up again.
