Tips And Movelist For Yajirobe In Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

While Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was never meant to be a balanced game, no one really expected one of the best characters of the game to be Yajirobe. While his involvement was crucial during the first fight against Vegeta, he was always meant to be weak, closer to a joke character than a real one.

Yet even after the nerfs, Yajirobe continues to be a key piece in several teams, particularly due to his ability to heal himself with Senzu Beans. This guide will cover everything you need to know about maining the ‘sword master,’ even if it gets you the anger of the Sparking Zero community.

Yajirobe In Versus And Online Matches

Yajirobe is a weak character by design, with low stats and abilities that deal significantly less damage than his peers. He even has less health than most characters on the roster, but only half a bar less; most characters that cost two DP have a full bar less of health.

His special moves are all Rush Supers, as expected, but the one you want to focus most on is Ka-Blam Attack. At four Ki bars, it is rather expensive, but it comes out rather fast and is unblockable, letting you spam it often whenever you get a window of opportunity.

Speaking of unblockable techniques, Yajirobe’s charged Ki blast is also unblockable, but only if you stand still while charging it. You’ll know you are doing it correctly because Yajirobe readies his sword to send a flying slash, instead of preparing to throw a rock.

How To Use The Senzu Beans

The main reason Yajirobe is often picked is due to his Senzu Beans skill, which costs six Skill Count and fully heals the character. The casting is pretty fast too, meaning that you only need the slightest of openings to get this sword-wielding warrior back on his feet.

The point of this skill is to win by stalling for time, since it can be quite difficult to catch a player that focuses on defense. In a timed battle, you just need a slight edge, using the Senzu Beans to be the healthiest character once the clock runs out.

Since he costs only two DP, Yajirobe can be part of an incredibly powerful team, easily combined with the many Gokus and Vegetas. If you want to be aggressive instead, then Yajirobe’s other skill is for you, letting you enter Sparking Mode instantly.
