Key Takeaways
- Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Gun is the strongest and most destructive attack in his arsenal.
- Zoro’s King Of Hell, Three-Sword Serpent defeated one of the most powerful Yonko Commanders in history.
- Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe: Boeuf Burst allowed him to defeat Queen with a single kick and showcase his full potential.
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji make up the Monster Trio of the current generation of One Piece as the 3 strongest and leading members of the Straw Hat crew. Whenever there is a battle against a powerful crew, it is always them who have to fight the most powerful members, with Luffy taking on the captain, Zoro the second in command, and Sanji the third in command. Though repetitive, this formula works and gives each of them a moment to shine.
Due to this, they have faced some of the strongest characters in One Piece and, in doing so, have built up their own power and move sets as well. Each of them has an ultimate attack in their arsenals that packs more of a punch than anything else, often outright defeating an enemy with one hit. Though it takes a lot out of them in the process, it’s peerless in terms of its power, so let’s take a look at the strongest attacks of the Monster Trio.

Luffy’s Gear 5 form took everyone by surprise when it first appeared, since everyone believed his Devil Fruit to be a Paramecia Type. However, it was always a Mythical Zoan that brought out the power of Sun God Nika, so when Luffy was brought to the verge of death, this new state was unlocked, complete with its insane and silly move set that made Luffy’s already goofy powers even more strange as he could now manipulate himself and whatever else he wanted as if he were playing with a toy.
Power isn’t determined by your size, but the size of your hopes and dreams!
Although the entire fight between Gear 5 Luffy and Kaido was the very definition of one-sided, it was only at the end that fans found out what this new form was capable of. With the Gomu Gomu no Bajrang Gun, Luffy flew up to the clouds and, using the stretching abilities of his fruit, expanded his fist to the size of the entire island of Onigashima, driving it straight into Kaido and pushing him all the way into the volcano of Wano. This is by far the strongest and most destructive attack in Luffy’s entire arsenal.

King |
Just like Luffy, Zoro’s fight against King was the culmination of everything he had learned up to that point in his life. Although one could argue that his Asura technique may be his most powerful since it was imbued with Conqueror’s Haki and managed to scar the nigh-indestructible body of Kaido, the Dragon Damnation saw Zoro’s abilities tested above and beyond his limits, bringing a swift end to one of the most powerful Yonko Commanders in history.
Who knows, by the end of this, I might be tearing your throat out with my teeth. Anything to ensure I win this fight!
As the legendary battle between Zoro and King continued to rage on, Zoro realized that this foe was stronger and more durable than anyone he’d ever faced before. Once King charged up his own extremely powerful attacks, Zoro perfected his Conqueror’s and Armament Haki into his blades, letting all of his power out in one of the most spectacular showings of power in the One Piece series and defeating King. This attack was so powerful that it took everything out of Zoro since he couldn’t move and was at death’s door afterwards.

Just like the others, the Wano arc has been instrumental in Sanji’s growth as a fighter, and this was on display in his fight against Queen. After realizing that he’s not holding up too well against his enemy, Sanji resorts to unlocking his full potential through the genetic modifications that Judge made to him as a child, giving him an extremely tough exoskeleton and making him far faster, stronger, and more durable than he had ever been before, which greatly benefitted his move set.

Sanji’s signature Diable Jambe wasn’t quite doing it for him in this fight, so he unlocked Ifrit Jambe; an even stronger and hotter version of the flame that takes on a blue color and makes him one of the fastest characters in the show. Through the realization of his full potential and the awakening of Ifrit Jambe, Sanji was able to deliver the Boeuf Burst to Queen, taking out the commander with a single kick. Sanji was afraid that these power-ups were going to make him similar to his brothers, so he even relied upon Zoro to kill him if that came to pass.
