The Best Decor Monuments For The Lighthouse In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, The Lighthouse will be your base of operations throughout your quest to stop Elgar’nan and Ghilan’nain, similar to The Keep in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

There are lots of ways to customize the Lighthouse to your liking, such as decor options for your room and themes for the main hall. There is also a place for a giant statue, or monument, in the center of the map, and you can choose between many different monuments to display.

8 Fen’Harel’s Mourning

The default monument is the wolf staring straight ahead, made of stone. It’s a decent default monument and fits well with the idea that this used to be Solas’s base of operations. It’s unlocked by opening the second secret chest in the Lighthouse puzzle.

There is an “upgraded” version, however, known as Fen’Harel’s Mourning. This sees the wolf made of gold instead of stone and howling mournfully to the sky. This is the same idea as the default, so it is pretty basic, but it is a bit more interesting to look at and goes along even more with the theme of Solas’s story.

7 Golden Tree Sculpture

Donning the appearance of a golden tree, this monument is a beautiful decoration as the centerpiece of your Lighthouse. It matches some of the other Elven architecture you’ll find in the Crossroads.

It can be acquired from the Veil Jumpers merchant after reaching rank four.

For those who want to have some Elven representation or decor inspiration for their Lighthouse, combining this monument with the Elven decor theme in the main hall is a great combination.

6 Prophet Of Light

Andraste is the head figure of the main religion in the Thedas. If you have played the series for a while, you may have even played as a Templar and role-played as a character serving Andraste. It can be acquired from the Shadow Dragon merchant after reaching rank four.

For that crowd, this monument is a nice symbol to show your devotion to the goddess (even though the Templar specialization is absent from this game in particular).

5 Par Vollen Throne

For those who are fans of the Qunari, either playing as one or just enjoying their culture and lore, this monument is for you.

This can be acquired from the Lords of Fortune merchant after reaching rank four.

This monument shows two Qunari warriors on either side of the Par Vollen throne, which is the throne of the Qunari queen. This is simply a recreation, of course, as not many have seen it with their own eyes.

4 The Defender

It’s time for some Dwarf representation. There are actually a few Dwarven-themed monuments you can get in the game, but the Defender depicts a Dwarven warrior, or perhaps even king, standing with honor and holding his big sword and shield.

One of the most popular and memorable Origins from Dragon Age: Origins is the Dwarf Noble, and this monument evokes memories of that time and that game. The Dwarves are an under-represented, under-appreciated faction in the Dragon Age games, and it is fun to honor them in this way.

3 Love In Life And Death

This monument features two skeletons embracing in a sweet kiss, cloaked in a robe. For those of the necromancer tastes, or maybe just wanting to support unconditional love, this monument is for you.

This one can be acquired from the final chest at the end of the Pinnacle of its Kind quest in the Necropolis after defeating the Formless One.

2 Dragon Skull Monument

Who doesn’t love dragons? With this monument, you can place a giant dragon skull right in the center of your base. If you love dragons, you can see it as a reverence to the fallen. If you hate them, you can look at it as a nice hunting trophy.

To acquire this one, all you have to do is win ten fights at the Hall of Valor. This is something you should be doing anyway, as you get some other nice rewards and experience for doing these fights.

1 Slaying Of An Ogre

This monument is perfect for long-time fans of the Dragon Age series. This monument depicts a warrior slaying a giant Ogre, one of the toughest enemies in the Darkspawn army.

Acquired after defeating the Revenant Dragon in the Heart of Corruption quest.

For those that are fans of the series, they have quite a long history of the Ogre enemy. One of the most iconic moments from the early parts of Dragon Age: Origins is slaying your first Ogre at the top of the tower, potentially getting that glorious kill animation as a Warrior, and seeing Duncan use his last energy to slay the Ogre that killed the King.
