Key Takeaways

  • A creative Pokemon fan recently designed a fusion between the Hisuian regional variants of Zoroark and Sylveon.
  • While official Pokemon games don’t feature fusions, fan artists continue to create imaginative new takes on classic monsters.

A Pokemon fan recently designed a fusion between the Hisuian regional variant of Zoroark and Sylveon, coming up with an amazing result. While fusions are not featured in official Pokemon games like Mega Evolutions and Paradox forms, they are one of the most popular concepts for fan artists who want to imagine new takes on classic monsters.

Zoroark is a Dark-type monster originally introduced in the fifth generation of Pokemon games as the evolution of Zorua, starting at Level 30. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Zorua and Zoroark received Normal/Ghost-type regional variants for Hisui. Sylveon, on the other hand, is a Fairy-type Pokemon that evolves from Eevee. Introduced in Gen 6, it’s the latest of the eight official Eeveelutions to appear in the series, and among the most popular.

November 27 Will Be a Sad Day For Some Pokemon Fans

Pokemon games are doing great on mobile, but one of them will unfortunately end its service in one region on November 27.

Now, a Pokemon fan named _PuppyRex_ devised an unnamed Ghost/Fairy-type fusion of the Hisuian Zoroark and Sylveon. The new design fused both creatures in an interesting way, keeping the overall body size of Zoroark, including its sharp claws and long hair, while also using several of Sylveon’s features, such as its colors, eyes, and ears. The artwork was praised by the Pokemon community, with gamers describing it as both “cool and terrifying.”

This is not the only artwork to imagine alternative forms for Sylveon to appear over the last few months. In October, for example, one fan designed a Fairy/Flying-type version of Sylveon. In this artwork, some of Sylveon’s fairy elements have been highlighted, giving the cute creature small wings and some clouds floating around it.

In another recent piece of artwork, a fan devised a human version of Sylveon. In this beautiful piece, the artist designed a woman wearing clothes that resembled Sylveon’s pink color scheme and had eyes, large ears, and hair that were greatly inspired by the popular Eeveelution.

While artwork featuring Zoroark is not as easy to find as the ones that reimagine the popular Fairy-type critter, some fans reimagined Zorua and Zoroark as Fire-type Pokemon back in August. At the time, a fan shared a gallery with three new designs. One of them had a Fire-type Zorua, which still looked small, but had hair made out of fire, while the two other designs featured a Fire/Ghost and a Fire/Fairy-type variant of Zoroark. In these new forms, the creature still had long hair made out of fire, but came in different colors.
