Specialist has made its way back to Warzone after being integrated with Black Ops 6. For those who may not know, Specialist is a unique perk that, when acquired, gives your character access to all available perks in the game at once. Classic Prestige is back in Black Ops 6. Here’s everything you need to know about this fan-favorite progression system.
Normally, your loadout is limited to just three perks, but with Specialist, you can benefit from all of them simultaneously, giving you a massive edge over your opponents. If you’re wondering how to get your hands on Specialist, here’s a step-by-step guide to unlocking it.
How To Get Specialist
In order to get your hands on Specialist, you first need to acquire a special weapon known as a Redacted Weapon.
A Redacted Weapon is a weapon that features eight attachments, rather than the standard five. These can be obtained in two ways: either from your personal loadout or found on the map.
Whether you’re playing Resurgence or Battle Royale, each of the available maps in Warzone contains a number of Redacted Weapons located in specific spots.
As you approach one, you’ll notice it has
a red rarity color
, indicating that it’s a Redacted Weapon.
While finding these can be competitive since multiple players will likely be after them, you can also create a weapon with eight attachments by using the Gunfighter Wild Card.
Once you have your Redacted Weapon, whether from your loadout or as loot, head to the nearest Weapon Trade Station. Open your map, ping one, and make your way there.
When standing in front of the machine, equip your Redacted Weapon. The exchange menu will show you what you’ll receive in return for the equipped weapon.
In this menu, you’ll not only get a weapon and a random killstreak and loot, but most importantly, you’ll unlock the Specialist. This will equip your character with every perk available in the game, giving you a significant advantage.
While Care Package killstreaks have a chance to drop the Specialist, it’s not guaranteed, and you can’t always rely on it.
