Honkai: Star Rail - Every Leaked or Confirmed Amphoreus Character So Far

Version 3.0 of Honkai: Star Rail is slated for this coming January. This new update will introduce a roster of new characters from the world of Amphoreus. Though Honkai: Star Rail has confirmed some details about the characters in this new update, not everyone has received a proper or official introduction.

Hoyoverse games are notorious for leaks and Honkai: Star Rail is no exception. While there’s a chance that more Amphoreus characters are on the way, these are the leaked and confirmed characters for Version 3.0 thus far.

Honkai: Star Rail has referenced installments in the Honkai franchise before, but Shush could cause big implications for the game’s lore.

Amphoreus Characters With the Most Information

Amphoreus is a world heavily inspired by Greek mythology in both its design and name. The world’s characters are no exception, with many characters having names directly inspired by characters from Greek myth or simply being Greek in origin. Most of these characters already have artwork depicting them officially released by Honkai: Star Rail, though only a handful have been properly announced to the public.

Aglaea

Aglaea is the first and one of the only characters officially announced by Honkai: Star Rail. This was accomplished through a post from Star Rail’s official X (formerly Twitter) account. Though all the Amphoreus characters are believed to be playable, Aglaea is yet again one of the only characters in this update that has received confirmation.

Players can expect Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail alongside the game’s Version 3.0 banner. Aglaea is also known as the Goldweaver who “caresses the golden thread and connects destiny.” Her announcement also states that she summons Amphoreus’ heroes, and will “lead them to once again embark on an endless journey.” As a member of the Chrysos Heirs, Aglaea has been chosen to pluck the gods’ Coreflames embedded within Amphoreus. As for stats, Aglaea is a 5-star Lightning character and follows the Path of Remembrance.

Tribbie

Tribbie was teased in the recent “Amphoreus’ Saga of Heroes” trailer by Honkai: Star Rail. The trailer refers to Tribbie as a three-faced messenger who can travel between doors. The number three holds important significance in Greek mythology and could be a reference to the goddess Hecate. However, the word “messenger” suggests a tie to the winged god Hermes.

Though no information about the character has officially been announced besides the line in the trailer, leaks may give players at least a few hints about the character. Prominent Star Rail leaker Seele Leaks alleges that Tribbie will be one of the two 5-star banner units added in Version 3.1 Another leaker, Uncle Guoba, reports that Tribbie allegedly is a support character that will give defense buffs to her allies. She will allegedly be a Quantum type following the Path of Harmony.

Mydeimos

Another teased character is Mydeimos the Undying, also referred to as Mydei. Seele Leaks alleges that he will be the other 5-star banner unit added to Honkai: Star Rail version 3.1. Mydei is depicted in the teaser trailer in front of a burning area with a red lion floating above him. Uncle Guoba alleges that Mydei’s Skill has a unique mechanic that resembles “Curio” from Divergent Universe and that he can also consume HP. These features seem perfectly designed for his supposed character type and path, as leaks also state that Mydeimos is an Imaginary type on the Path of Destruction.

Castorice

Castorice has been depicted in artwork on Honkai: Star Rail’s X account. She has a clear connection with death, as the artwork’s description states “the River of Souls flows and grants the embrace of demise,” a clear reference to Greek mythology’s River Styx.

Seele Leaks has also alleged that Castorice will be released to the public and expects her to join the game in Version 3.2. Uncle Guoba suggests that Castorice can create memosprites to aid in combat alongside her scythe. If Uncle Guoba’s leaks are true, Castorice will likely be on the Path of Remembrance considering her ties to memosprites. It is also rumored that she will be a Quantum character.

Anaxagoras

Anaxagoras the Foolish, also referred to as Anaxa, was also depicted in the teaser trailer sitting at the base of a tree. In addition to alleging that Anaxa will be introduced to Honkai: Star Rail alongside Castorice in Version 3.2, Seele Leaks alleges that Anaxagoras will be a 5-star Ice type following the Path of Nihility. This combination suggests that his gameplay will debuff enemies.

Amphoreus Characters Still in the Dark

Hyacine

Hyacine is briefly shown among the branches of a tree in the teaser trailer. This artwork coincides with a voiceover mentioning a “priest that severs dawn from dusk.” No additional information such as her kit, element, path alignment, or release date has been announced. However, Hyacine could be a reference to the Greek mythos character “Hyacinth,” a former lover of Apollo. Upon his murder, he was transformed into a flower which now bears his name today.

Cifera

Cifera the Fleet-Footed, also known as Cipher, can also be seen in the teaser. Her kit will certainly live up to her title, as she is shown zipping through enemies. Additionally, the trailer says that Cifera can command frozen time to flow. Like Hyacine, no additional information about her kit, element, path alignment, or release date for Honkai: Star Rail has been announced.

Phainon

Phainon the Nameless King could be one of the most important characters in the world, considering his regal title. The trailer emphasizes the title Nameless King, who will ascend the throne alongside great heroes to complete deliverance. He joins the list of Amphoreus characters with no details on their kit, element, path alignment, or release date.

Though the game remains unconfirmed, plenty of leaks surrounding HoYoverse’s next game title, Starry Sky Valley, continue to circulate.

Cyrene

A girl allegedly named Cyrene is the last full character depicted in the teaser. Unlike the aforementioned characters, Cyrene is not one of the Chrysos Heirs. She remains an important character from Amphoreus and is speculated to be an NPC. If this role is correct, she may act as a guide for the Astral Express when they arrive at Amphoreus and may be one of the first characters to join Honkai: Star Rail 3.0.

Four more character portraits can be seen in the teaser trailer, featured in a shadowy silhouette. The video’s description reveals the name Hysilens, who could be one of these characters. More information about Amphoreus’ characters will be revealed as Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 approaches.
