These Max Battles feature Dynamax Bosses, similar to Raid Bosses, which the player can take on in battle and potentially even capture to add to their collection. These Max Battles take place at in-game objectives on your Pokemon GO map, known as Power Spots.




During the Max Out Season, an event known as Max Mondays has been recurring. Max Mondays are a short 1-hour period in which all nearby Power Spots will be taken over by a certain Max Battle Boss, enabling players to farm encounters and captures with this one particular monster to gain some useful XP and resources or hunt for one with the best-battling potential.
