Cyberpunk 2077 Drops To Lowest-Ever Price Across Multiple Platforms

Key Takeaways

  • Cyberpunk 2077 has dropped to its lowest-ever price of $26.99 on Steam and the Xbox Store.
  • The PlayStation version of the game is currently available at a historically low price of $24.99.
  • The Phantom Liberty DLC and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition are also available at attractive discounts for a few more days.

Cyberpunk 2077 has hit its lowest-ever price across multiple storefronts, with the game currently being available for as low as $24.99. However, these Cyberpunk 2077 deals are all fairly short-lived, with some set to expire as early as Cyber Monday.

Although CD Projekt Red’s dystopian RPG had a rather troubled launch, not least because of the massive technical issues plaguing its PS4 and Xbox One versions, Cyberpunk 2077 eventually managed quite a comeback. These days, not only is the game in an excellent state, but it also has the bragging rights to one of the most critically acclaimed RPG DLCs in recent memory, Phantom Liberty.

CD Projekt Red has confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 will continue to expand with a new animated adaptation in the works.

While Cyberpunk 2077 has seen frequent sales since its late 2020 debut, it wasn’t until the end of November 2024 that the game received its first 55%-off discount on Steam and the Xbox Store. As a result, PC and Xbox gamers can currently pick it up for just $26.99, which is the lowest the sci-fi RPG has ever been on either storefront. At the same time, the PlayStation version of Cyberpunk 2077 can currently be purchased for $24.99, matching its prior lowest price on Sony’s consoles.

Current Cyberpunk 2077 Deals

The current crop of discounts also extends to the Ultimate Edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which bundles the base game with the Phantom Liberty expansion starring Idris Elba. This higher-tier edition is presently available for $47.99 on the Xbox Store and $46.90 on Steam, as well as $46.14 on the PlayStation Store, with its discounts hence ranging from 35% to 48% off. Anyone who already owns the base game can also pick up Phantom Liberty on its own for $23.99, a 20% discount that matches the DLC’s lowest-ever price on any storefront.

The Steam price cuts are part of the ongoing Autumn 2024 Sale on Valve’s storefront, meaning they’ll be available until Wednesday, December 4. Their Xbox and PlayStation counterparts are planned to expire on December 2 and 3, respectively. Based on CDPR’s historical sales patterns, Cyberpunk 2077 is unlikely to see new discounts before early 2025, and even if it does, such sales are unlikely to beat these current offers.

This recent wave of deals is hence an excellent opportunity for any RPG fan who hasn’t yet experienced Cyberpunk 2077 to do so in a cost-effective manner. Although the game itself isn’t planned to receive any more updates, CDPR has already started working on a follow-up title. Code-named Project Orion, the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is presently in pre-production, so it’s not expected to hit the market until the late 2020s.
