The beloved sci-fi graphic novel series Saga is on sale as part of Amazon’s Cyber Monday event. You can pick up the Saga Box Set: Volumes 1-9 for $67.44–a nearly 50% discount compared to its normal $125 list price. Alternatively, you can get a single-volume paperback compendium of Volumes 1-9 for $33.56, which is also nearly a 50% discount from its $60 list price. This doorstopper of a book is 1,328 pages.
Written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Fiona Staples, Saga tells the tale of two lovers–Marko and Alana–who fight on opposing sides of a galactic war but desert their posts to be together and now must live as planet-hopping fugitives. The setting mixes sci-fi elements like robots and starships with fantasy and magic, while grounding it all with humanistic drama and humor. The ongoing series debuted in 2012 and remains among the best-selling and acclaimed modern comics series.
