Key Takeaways
- Appetizers in Disney Dreamlight Valley, like Vegetable Soup, Cheese Platter, and Gazpacho, are quick, with varying energy boosts.
- Simple recipes such as Onion Puffs and Buñuelos provide large energy restoration and coin payouts.
- A more complex recipe like Potato Leek Soup offers big rewards in terms of energy restoration and selling price.
One surefire way to replenish Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley is by whipping up some delicious meals with Remy’s help. Each dish is divided into categories — Appetizers, Entrées, and Desserts — and restores different amounts of Energy, but they also sell for different base prices depending on the difficulty of the recipe and how many ingredients it requires (plus how hard it is to find/harvest said ingredients). Many Appetizers can be prepared in record time and only require a minimum of one ingredient, so for players who need an instant boost of Energy, they might be the smartest option.

Appetizers range from soups and platters to puffs and even a soft fritter dough of Spanish origin called Buñuelos. A lot of Appetizers only require basic ingredients such as milk, butter, eggs, and wheat, as well as a handful of vegetables, so as long as there’s a constant supply of crops and access to Chez Remy, Appetizers will be the quickest and easiest way to get Energy fast.
8 Vegetable Soup
Restores A Small Amount Of Energy On The Fly
- Ingredients Needed: Any Vegetable x2
- Energy Restored: 120+
- Selling Price: 20 Coins
In the quest “The Beast With No Bite,” Beast enlists the help of the player to boost his self-confidence with an impromptu photoshoot and prepare a romantic dinner for Belle. For the Appetizer, Beast requests Vegetable Soup, which can be created using any two vegetables besides Lettuce.
Attempting to use Lettuce will create a Green Salad instead, which also restores a small amount of Energy and sells for 20 Coins. Vegetable Soup is a quick Appetizer that restores a sliver of Energy for a quick fix.
7 Cheese Platter
Requires Just One Ingredient And Replenishes A Fair Amount Of Energy
- Ingredients Needed: Cheese
- Energy Restored: 482+
- Selling Price: 216 Coins
The Cheese Platter is not requested by any character as part of a quest, but it is another simple Appetizer that only requires one ingredient: cheese, of course. It also restores a sizable amount of Energy with at least 482 and sells for more than 10 times the amount of Coins as the Vegetable Soup despite only comprising one ingredient.
Once Chez Remy is unlocked, Cheese can be purchased for 180 Coins to create the Cheese Platter, which restores just under double the amount of Energy as a block of Cheese by itself.
6 Gazpacho
Restores A Generous Amount Of Both Energy And Coins
- Ingredients Needed: Cucumber, Tomato, Onion, Any Spice
- Energy Restored: 812+
- Selling Price: 548 Coins
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, Prince Eric can be unlocked upon successful completion of the quest “Poor Unfortunate Prince,” in which Ariel and Merlin turn Prince Eric back into a human after Ursula curses him to live in her garden of “poor unfortunate souls” as a weedling.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Complete Belle’s Enchanted Day
There is a new friendship quest involving Beast and Belle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but you have to find a page in Storybook Vale to start it.
Eric requests Gazpacho, Vegetarian Stew, and Berry Salad, all of which can be created using a combination of vegetables and fruits. Gazpacho requires only Cucumber, Tomato, Onion, and any Spice, the latter of which can be foraged from the ground of practically any biome, so it’s always an accessible Appetizers to not only restore almost 1,000 Energy but also a little over a half-thousand Coins.
5 Onion Puffs
A Simple Recipe That Replenishes Over 1,000 Energy
- Ingredients Needed: Onion, Eggs, Cheese
- Energy Restored: 1,392+
- Selling Price: 798 Coins
In “Something’s Off,” Pumbaa confides that he’s cleared out Chez Remy just by walking inside, just like he used to do at the watering hole. Daisy and Elsa reveal that Pumbaa emits a smelly odor and has poor table manners. It is also revealed that he has an aversion to cheese-heavy meals, so Onion Puffs are decided upon as a viable alternative.
These Puffs only require three ingredients and restore more than 1,000 Energy, as well as selling for almost 800 Coins. Onions can be grown from Onion Seeds, which are purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor. As for Eggs and Cheese, those are bought directly from Remy.
4 Buñuelos
Requires Minimal Harvesting For A Large Payout In Both Energy And Coins
- Ingredients Needed: Wheat, Cheese, Milk, Eggs
- Energy Restored: 1,881+
- Selling Price: 948 Coins
Mirabel asks for Buñuelos during two separate quests, “A Festival of Friendship” and “A Taste of Home,” and they are inspired by the dish made by Julieta Madrigal in Encanto. These cheese-stuffed balls of dough are used to rekindle Mirabel’s friendships with Moana, Anna, and Elsa, as well as feeding Mirabel’s other companions: Mickey, Goofy, and Scrooge McDuck.
Wheat can be procured from Wheat Seeds, which are purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow and Ancient’s Landing. Cheese, Milk, and Eggs can be purchased from Chez Remy. Despite Buñuelos only requiring one more ingredient than Onion Puffs, they provide almost 500 extra Energy and sell for over 150 more Coins.
3 Potato Leek Soup
A More Complicated Recipe With Big Rewards
- Ingredients Needed: Leek, Potato, Milk, Onion, Garlic
- Energy Restored: 1,984+
- Selling Price: 1,415 Coins
Potato Leek Soup is a five-star Appetizer that is not required as part of any quest, but it provides one of the highest Energy boots of any Appetizer. It also sells for almost 1,500 Coins. Although garlic is one of the hardest ingredients to acquire for this recipe, it’s worthwhile finding some — then getting extra — as it can be used for Arendellian Pickled Herring too.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Get A Stove
Players will need a stove to cook their favorite meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Here’s how to get it.
Garlic can be found on the ground in the Forest of Valor and the Wild Tangle, whereas Onions and Leeks are both grown from seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall. It’s more work to make Potato Leek Soup than the average Cheese Platter or Tomato Soup, but going the extra mile pays off in the long run, especially as it restores such a hefty amount of Energy.
2 Arendellian Picked Herring
Sells For Lower Value But Replenishes More Energy Than Most Appetizers
- Ingredients Needed: Herring, Lemon, Onion, Garlic, Any Spice
- Energy Restored: 2,092+
- Selling Price: 532 Coins
Another five-star Appetizer, Arendellian Picked Herring is requested by Elsa in “The Ice Cavern Mystery” and “What Home Feels Like.” It’s a more complicated recipe than most Appetizers as it requires Herring, which can only be caught by fishing in the Glade of Trust and Dazzle Beach, and Lemons that grow on trees in the Glade of Trust and Forest of Valor.
Luckily, heading straight to the Glade of Trust will kill two birds with one stone for Herring and Lemon, then the other ingredients are fairly self-explanatory and in line with other Appetizer recipes. Arendellian Pickled Herring is a good choice for sacrificing a low sale value for a higher amount of Energy restoration, so it meets one of those criteria better than the other.
1 Soufflé
All Ingredients Are Found In Chez Remy For A Recipe With Ample Energy And Coins
- Ingredients Needed: Cheese, Eggs, Milk, Butter
- Energy Restored: 2,386+
- Selling Price: 1230 Coins
Although Soufflé is only a four-star Appetizer, it has a much more rewarding balance of Energy consumption and resell value than most other Appetizers for very few ingredients. All it takes is Cheese, Eggs, Milk, and Butter, all of which can be purchased right from Chez Remy. There’s no need to go hunting for other items or slave away fishing and harvesting, plus it offers almost 2,500 Energy and over 1,000 Coins in return.
It’s one of those Appetizers that’s made with love and loves right back, so it’s a go-to for anyone looking to increase their Coin total fast or replenish a bunch of Energy without needing to go any further than Remy’s restaurant.
