The autumn-themed pie utilizes its natural round shape to outline the face of a starry-eyed human Animal Crossing villager. Additional shapes added to the pie’s crust make up the character’s facial features, and its presentation even includes some additions like the face of Animal Crossing‘s constant landlord Tom Nook, a one-bell coin, and a variety of falling leaves that symbolize the seasonal nature of the pie.

Reactions to the culinary creation have been positive, as multiple commenters have stated that it looks too cute to eat. Others have posted some creepy theories based on the pie, such as it being the fate of villagers who never pay back their loans to Tom Nook. There is no chicken pot pie cooking recipe in the games, likely because Animal Crossing games’ villager types have always included a variety of chicken villagers, but there are eight other types of pie that players can bake in New Horizons if they find the recipes.
