The Best Consumables In Supervive

The Best Consumables In Supervive

There are many aspects that you have to consider if you and your team want to win a match in Supervive, a unique battle royale title that blends multiple genres together. Aside from the basic equipment that you will be bringing to each battle, such as Weapons and Powers, developer and publisher Theorycraft Games has also thrown in some Consumable items to add another layer to the gameplay.

Bearing in mind that, unlike the powers, Consumable items can only be used once, it is essential to know exactly which Consumables to bring with you, as using the right item at the right time can prove to be a game-changer at any given moment.

8 Evil Key

While the Armor Repair Consumable can come in quite handy, considering that you and your teammates will probably be taking damage at one point or another, it is its Golden and Greater variations that prove to be much more effective in drastic situations. Unfortunately, unlike the basic Armor Repair that can be found quite frequently on the battlefield, the other two forms are only obtainable through Evil Chests, which are guaranteed to spawn randomly anywhere on the map.

Because Evil Chests carry such rare items that can make or break any Supervive match, having an Evil Key in your backpack allows you to quickly locate and open them, buffing your armor and turning the tide of the battle when your enemies least expect it.

7 Jump Pad

Although it might not seem like the Jump Pad is a crucial Consumable item to have, just by judging it from its name, it becomes quite useful when you and your teammates want to freely move across the map and avoid enemies in the process.

You can use this Consumable in situations where you feel overwhelmed by the enemy or want to get to platforms quickly to complete objectives, placing it and simply getting on top of it to fly across the battlefield to create some much-needed room between you and the opposition.

Try not to waste your Jump Pad and wait for the right moment to use it, which usually comes during the final stages of the battle.

6 Giant Power Shard

Power Shards play an important role in every Supervive battle because, as the match progresses, you and your teammates will run into scenarios where upgrading Equipment is the only way to achieve victory.

While a single Power Shard can only be used by one member of your team, the Giant Power Shard takes things up a notch and can be divided into just enough individual Power Shards so that your entire squad can use them on their Equipment.

Don’t just randomly apply the Power Shards and be mindful of the characters on your team, as some can use them much more effectively than others to upgrade Equipment.

5 Scan Grenade

Proper visibility is pivotal in making sure that you win a Supervive match, and the Scan Grenade serves exactly that purpose, letting your entire team see enemies in a specific area of the map. It can get quite frustrating when members of the opposing team are hiding or using Stealth, but using the Scan Grenade can blow their cover for an entire minute so you can figure out your next move accordingly.

The only downside is that you will have to choose the perfect moment to throw the item, because you can’t just keep throwing as many Scan Grenades as you want, limiting its use to only one at a time.

4 Gold Key

Getting the best armor in Supervive is unfortunately not that easy, as for starters, you can’t buy it or pick it up as common loot, which makes the Gold Key a critical Consumable item to have on hand. Similar to how the Evil Key operates, the Gold Key is the only way to open the Gold Chests that spawn on the map, and opening these chests is your best bet in acquiring the Gold Armor.

Of course, if your enemy also has a Gold Key, it becomes a matter of how fast either of you can get to the Gold Chest, but since the Consumable item guides you towards its direction, you do not have to scour the entire map to look for it.

3 Hypervive

HP and Mana are two of the most important things to take care of during a Supervive match, and the Hypervive is the perfect Consumable item to increase those two bars. It completely restores your health and Mana, but it comes with a trade-off that makes it somewhat of a gamble to use during intense situations.

The process is too slow, making you vulnerable to enemy attacks, which can cancel the restoration entirely, and considering that it also significantly decreases your movement speed, you should only use it when you have enough time or team support for cover.

2 Ethereal Smoke

Sometimes, moving quietly around the map can be an effective way to complete any objectives that you and your team might have, which is where Ethereal Smoke comes in to help. It provides you and nearby allies with cover for 30 seconds, so you can regroup and figure out your next strategy in peace for a while.

Although the window doesn’t really seem like it’d be sufficient, the Consumable item also comes with a buff to your movement speed, so there is usually more than enough time to get things done.

1 Vive Bean

One of the best Consumable items in Supervive is also the most easily obtained, as it can be bought from the shop or acquired without much hassle during a battle. The increase in HP and Mana that the Vive Bean brings may be less than the Hypervive, but it’s much faster, and the negative effects don’t really last for too long.

Plus, it comes with other uses too, as you can turn it into a Vive Brew, which has better HP and Mana increase rates, by cooking it near a Basecamp, making the Vive Bean the key Consumable item to have during every single Supervive battle.
