Studio Bside, the creator of Counter:Side, has officially revealed the title of its highly anticipated RPG, StarSavior, formerly known as Project Star. The devs have also unveiled a key visual showcasing the game’s worldview and launched their official X account (formerly known as Twitter). The game is set to begin its beta test next year, with plans for an official release in the latter half of 2025.

StarSavior is a fantasy turn-based RPG set in the Nebula Observatory Organization (NOA). In this game, you take on the role of Savior, and you can embark on a journey to inherit the power of the Stars and ultimately save the fading world.
The game offers an immersive story in animation-style 3D graphics along with various charming characters. Additionally, there is also a training system where you can interact with the characters and prepare them for upcoming battles.
StarSavior will undergo a closed beta in the first half of 2025
The game was initially announced in January 2023 through a teaser video under the name Project Star, followed by a second promotional video. Now, we can finally expect to look forward to more details about StarSavior as Studio Bside plans to begin a CBT in the early half of 2025.
This is one of the Gacha games that I am very excited about, especially with its anime-style art and visuals, which look great. Moreover, a Studio Bside official also mentioned, “As many fans have expected , we will return with a high-quality work that will be recognized both domestically and internationally.”
