It’s a community filled with talented creators, who love to pay tribute to the adorable pocket monsters in tons of different ways. Pokemon fans’ curiosity is sky-high thanks to the series revealing a new Poke Ball variety with an intriguing design.

Redditor ElTamagotchi shared their impressive Pokemon fan creation online, nine impressive monochrome pins featuring various fan favorites such as Pikachu, Eevee, and Ditto. Each one uses the primary color of the respective Pokemon – Pikachu is yellow, Eevee is brown, and Ditto is pink, for example. Each design is adorable, and ElTamagotchi was faced with several requests for other Pokemon like Clodsire and Umbreon in the thread. According to the user, their plan is to release another volume “next summer,” when hopefully, a few different Pokemon will be represented.

Of the collection, six are from Pokemon Generation 1, while three are from Generation 2. Regardless, they’re all from the game’s earliest Generations. These early Pokemon are usually the most popular when it comes to fan creations – the community has simply had the most time to become familiar with them. There was even one Pokemon fan who created beanies featuring Generation 1 and 2’s starters. Even with the abundance of new designs, the classics just never go out of fashion.

It’s set to be a big couple of years for the Pokemon franchise. 2025 will see the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, while 2026 is set to be the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Some leaks earlier this year suggested that Pokemon Generation 10 is set to come to the Nintendo Switch 2, with a release rumored for 2026. This would make a ton of sense – by 2026, it will have been four years since Generation 9, and the release of Generation 10 would be a perfect way to celebrate 30 years of Pokemon. While this was part of the Pokemon leaks from earlier this year, it’s worth remembering that plans can always change as development rolls on.
