Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero shows many interesting What If scenarios. “What if Vegeta fought and defeated Buu?” or “What if Frieza killed Goku on Namek?” and many more. However, there is one “What if” that is left unanswered that many fans wish to see. “What if Tien was betrayed and locked in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for 1000 years and was immortal?”

Tien in Versus and Online Matches
Overall, Tien’s stats aren’t something to write home about as they are pretty basic. This does come as a benefit, however, as the low stats also come with a low DP cost of four. What he makes up for his low stats are his low Skill cost and highly versatile Special Moves.
For starters, Solar Flare is an amazing tool against highly aggressive opponents. Upon activation, it will momentarily stun and blind the opponent, leaving them open to receiving a lot of damage. Be mindful when activating Solar Flare, as it can be avoided and leave you completely open to the opponent.
Solar Flare has super armor upon activation and can only be interrupted by more powerful attacks. You will still be able to receive damage.
Wild Sense will automatically avoid the next melee attack the opponent throws at you, countering it with your own. This can be used both defensively and offensively, as it can be preemptively activated and held until the first opponent’s attack.
Dodon Ray fires a beam attack that will travel extremely quickly and deal moderate damage. It is effective as both a combo finisher after a launch or a ranged poking tool against opponents attempting to charge Ki. Its sheer speed and extremely low cost make it the most effective tool in his kit.
Tri-Beam also fires a quick projectile, though with less tracking, and deals slightly more damage than Dodon Ray. Though there is a slight damage increase compared to Dodon Ray, the cost is an extra Ki Gauge and may not be worth it in the long run.
Neo Tri-Beam is Tien’s ultimate attack that comes with its own unique effect. Whilst a single blast does quite low damage, the move can be continuously fired up to 10 times, drastically increasing its damage at the cost of draining your health after each subsequent shot. This should be used at the end of a combo and is only truly worth it when the opponent is low on health.
Neo Tri-Beam is unable to kill you should you waste all of your health.
