Burers are short, humanoid mutated monsters wearing a robe that can use their telekinesis powers to fight the players in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Although many dangerous monsters roam the Zone, Burers are considered one of the toughest enemies of the bunch. They have a big health pool to soak up any damage players inflict and can use objects in their environment to attack, e.g. animate the guns to shoot at players. Beating a Burer can be tough, but can be made easier by learning its attack patterns.

How to Beat a Burer in Stalker 2
Players will first encounter a Burer during the “The Price Goes Up” main mission in Stalker 2. If you choose to investigate the Dig Site instead of the Labyrinth, there will be an encounter with a Burer after going into the cavern under the shed. It’ll start using telekinesis to use discarded guns on the ground and hail bullets towards the players.
But this isn’t the only encounter, as players can also find Burers in various abandoned outposts and warehouses. Despite being a shorter-sized mutant, any wrong moves can lead to a game over screen within seconds. However, here’s how players can easily beat a Burer in Stalker 2.
It’s recommended that players use either an Assault Rifle or a Sniper against a Burer to beat it while keeping out of the range of its telekinesis attacks.
- Try to aim your sniper rifle or AR at its head before engaging and land a few confirmed hits on it.
- After the first round of attack, Burer will enshroud itself with a blue aura. You won’t be able to damage it in this state, so wait for an opening.
- As the Burer’s aura dissipates, start shooting at it while keeping the aim on its head for maximum damage.
- Optionally, players can also chuck a grenade or two in its direction to inflict a considerable amount of damage.
- If the Burer comes too close, it will disarm you by pushing out the weapon from your hands with the power of telekinesis. If that happens, pick the weapon back up and go to a safe distance.
- Wait for the Burer to activate its blue aura again and let it dissipate. After that, repeat the process by shooting well-aimed shots at its head.
Once players deal enough damage, they’ll beat the Burer in Stalker 2 as they watch its body fall down on the ground lifelessly.
