What We Know About Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 So Far

Various different leads and producers on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series have been surprisingly open about the third part, giving us some details about the game. For starters, we know that it should be faithful to the original game’s ending, despite differences in the first two parts. The plot has already been written too.

We also know that the Highwind airship will play a major part in the game. More specifically, we’ll be able to “fly freely around the map”, which should make traversal much easier.

There’s no word on a release window just yet, but that’s hardly surprising since Rebirth only launched this year. If we’re in for a similar wait between games as we had last time, then it’s still a good few years away.
