CoD Black Ops 6 Zombies: 10 Best Weapons, Ranked

There is a wide arsenal of weapons to wield in Black Ops 6 Zombies. From fast-firing SMGs to powerful Wonder Weapons, here are the best ones.

Black Ops 6 has 3 Wonder Weapons on launch, and with the arrival of Citadelle des Morts on December 5, a new Wonder Weapon is set to grace the hands of players for high rounds. As it stands, it’s a good time to rank the best Wonder Weapons in Black Ops 6 so players know what’s worth picking up and leaving behind for the perfect zombie-hunting loadout.

3 Ray Gun

The Original Wonder Weapon Packs a Punch But Lacks Speed

  • Available in: Terminus, Liberty Falls
  • Free Ray Gun
  • Pack-a-Punch Variant: Porter’s X2 Ray Gun
  • Ammo Capacity: 20+160 (40+200 Pack-a-Punch)
  • The all-time classic Wonder Weapon from the Golden Age of blasting maggot-sacks to atoms.

It truly wouldn’t be a Call of Duty Zombies experience without the opportunity to get the Ray Gun from the Mystery Box. This iconic Wonder Weapon has been there since the beginning, featuring all the way back in World at War’s Nacht der Untoten. It’s a perfect visual weapon that’s needed no changes throughout the years, and in Black Ops 6, it seems as if its damage potential is better than ever – especially with the ability to Pack-a-Punch it three times.

Many things work in the Ray Gun’s favor in Black Ops 6 and combined with PhD Flopper to become immune to self-explosives, and a Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch Ray Gun, players have a true weapon of mass destruction on their hands. Unfortunately, the Ray Gun may provide plenty of power, but suffers from a slow rate of fire without Double Tap Root Beer, so the weapon is a tad slow at taking out beefier targets like Manglers, Amalgams, and Abominations. It’s still fun, but it can easily be out-DPS’d by other weapons.

2 DRI-11 Beamsmasher

Weaken and Stun Zombies and Unleash a Devastatingly Deadly Beam

  • Available in: Terminus
  • Beamsmasher Quest
  • Pack-a-Punch Variant: Supersonic Crusher
  • Ammo Capacity: 80+320 (120+480 Pack-a-Punch)
  • Come for the Sonic Pulse, stay for the Directed Energy beam! Living ammo – deadly outcomes!

The DRI-11 Beamsmasher is the exclusive Wonder Weapon of Terminus, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. While the free quest for it may involve some math, it’s not a difficult weapon to obtain, and it’s its own reward to have it. The Beamsmasher is certainly an interesting Wonder Weapon, as it acts more of a support weapon than it does as a main source of damage, and that’s all thanks to its Sonic Pulse ability that comes from an alternate fire mode.

Black Ops 6 proves the power of Wonder Weapons, but there are some from previous maps that deserve to return to their former glory.

The Sonic Pulse ability will stun zombies, placing them in a temporary trance. Those affected by it, Manglers and Amalgams included, will be extra vulnerable to damage. This ability makes high rounds even easier, as players can stun the hordes and wipe them out with a fast-firing weapon. The Directed Energy beam is the main firing mode, and while it can be fun to crackle and cook zombies, it’s not the strongest concentrated damage beam, when the magazine reaches 0, the gun emits a defending burst of damage to knock down enemies. It’s a fun and situational Wonder Weapon.

1 Thrustodyne M23

Suck Up Zombies and Power-Ups in the Powerful Jet Gun

  • Available in: Liberty Falls
  • Jet Gun Quest
  • Ammo Capacity: 100
  • Pack-a-Punch Variant: Scramjet Model 3200
  • The brainchild of a scientist and a moonshiner, the “Thrustodyne Model 23” sucks up your troubles and spits out carnage confetti.

A returning Wonder Weapon from Black Ops 2’s TranZit, the Jet Gun gets a noticeable upgrade in how it will actually effectively suck up zombies and not explode when it’s run out of ammo. The Jet Gun works on a power basis, and its charge of 100% will regenerate over time. Expending all 100% of the charge, or using the alternate fire mode (L2/LT/Right-Click) will create an explosive effect to protect the player, but at the cost of a longer recharge time. Like other Wonder Weapons, the Thrustodyne M23 is pretty situational, but definitely more fun thanks to how it regenerates its own ammo.

The standard fire of the Jet Gun will have zombies scatter and fall to the floor as they are sucked up and churned into bloody butter by the literal jet engine in the player’s hands. Since the Jet Gun kills zombies the moment they touch the gun itself, players can stand in a corner and just let hordes of zombies and vermin eviscerate. However, this isn’t the case with Manglers and Abominations, and it will only stun them, so players might want to have a weapon better suited for Special and Elite Zombies that can’t be turned into a bloody mess.
