Let’s decode this mysterious and powerful group.

The show does not just rely on raw power; its fight scenes often reveal character motivations, deepen rivalries, or escalate the stakes in Piltover and Zaun. While every confrontation is impressive, some stand out as unforgettable moments that leave fans on the edge of their seats, either by showing the might of the characters from the game or by making an incredible fight scene memorable.

8 Vi Vs. Silco’s Gang

From Season 1, Episode 3

The first season of Arcane didn’t have too many fight scenes, but the ones it had left a lasting impact. Vi’s spartan-styled stance against Silco’s entire gang is impressive, particularly due to her being little more than a child by that point, but one who knows how to pack a punch.

She doesn’t just fight against an entire group of grown adults, she demolishes them, and it is made believable due to her story, tools, and specific situation in the bridge. Of course, the biggest part of the confrontation is how it ends, with a well-meaning Powder putting too much umph into her inventions.

7 Vi & Jayce Vs. The Chemtanks

From Season 1, Episode 8

This fight is just pure fanservice, and we love it for it, with both Vi and Jayce using their iconic skills from the game to deal with a bunch of overpowered goons. Due to the nature of his kit, Jayce is the one that has the most references, but Vi’s choreography is always top-notch.

It ends just as quickly as it started, with the two powerhouses making short work of the oddly fast Chemtanks. The fight does end on an emotional note, since Jayce gets too caught up in the moment and ends up shooting a child, something that ends up haunting him for the rest of the series.

6 Jinx & Sevika Vs. Smeech

From Season 2, Episode 2

We all saw that strange Yordle from season one and wanted to know more about him, and the second season of Arcane certainly delivers. While far from a relevant character, we see through him the power vacuum that Silco left behind and how each player ends up adjusting to the new dynamics.

Smeech, the Yordle in question, wants to get rid of Jinx and her influence, but he’ll soon see that the blue-haired troublemaker is not alone. The team-up with Sevika and the new mech arm reveal are a joy to watch, making us wish she was playable in the game.

5 Jinx Vs. Vander

From Season 2, Episode 4

Vander never ends up being exactly the Warwick we know and love, but the moment he gets the closest is during his introduction in episode 4. The slow-building tension, the rampage, and the blood trail all lead to a final reveal of a hulking creature, and Jinx is the only one who can stand against it.

Much like you’d expect the fight to go in the game, Jinx is about to get devoured by the werewolf until Vander recognizes her as his daughter. It’s worth mentioning that Vi has a similar fight against Vander in the following episode, but it is less a fight and more character development for their entire family.

4 Vi & Caitlyn Vs. Jinx & Sevika

From Season 2, Episode 3

Arcane image showing Vi destroying Jinx weapon.

This fight is exciting, sad, and confusing, and we love it for it. The time for words is over; the scar left by Jinx’s actions from the previous season is too fresh, so the invaders from Piltover face the champions of Zaun in a fight that nearly ends with the death of a child.

This is all while Jayce is investigating the Hextech core with Ekko and Heimerdinger, and their investigation is having dire consequences for the fight below. In all honesty, this was a necessary interference since Vi and Caitlyn, with well-functioning Hextech weapons, would make short work of Jinx and Sevika’s lesser tech.

3 Vi Vs. Sevika

From Season 1, Episodes 5 And 9

These are technically two fights, but they are tied thematically by the growth of both characters. In both cases, though, it is mostly to show how much of a badass Vi is, which is achieved by showing how scary Sevika and her mech arm can be.

The first fight involves Vi beating Sevika without any weapons, only for the gangster to distract her by mentioning Jinx; Vi would have died there if it hadn’t been for Caitlyn. The rematch, with both women having upgraded their gear, also has Vi about to die, but she manages to turn that around on her own.

2 Ekko Vs. Jinx

From Season 1, Episode 7

Arcane image showing Ekko standing with a timeclock in his hand, as a spotlight blasts him from behind.

This is less of a fight and more of a duel, but it is a fine one at that. In essence, it has Ekko run towards Jinx with a stick, dodge all her bullets, and nearly beat her senseless. While it is a bold move to bring a stick to a gunfight, what makes the scene work is the artistic intention around it.

You can see how this used to be a game they played as children, albeit a bit less lethal, making those joyful memories all the more painful for both of them. It’s about how the characters feel during that moment, and even if it isn’t conventional, it is still one of the better fights of the show.

1 The Final Fight

From Season 2, Episode 9

Of course, the final fight was going to be at the top, but there are a lot of final fights, so we should clarify. We are specifically referring to both Vi & Jinx Vs. Vander, as well as Viktor Vs. Jayce (also Ekko), not only for their artistry but also for how attached we are to all those characters.

Vander was too far gone by this point, his death being inevitable, but Jinx’s sacrifice to save her sister was heart-wrenching. Meanwhile, Viktor’s final fight with Jayce was a philosophical one, where he finally got to see the error of his ways, not in small part by the interference of the time-traveling Ekko.
