We’ve been waiting for a MSI Claw 8 AI+ launch date for some time now, but it now looks like we’re getting not one, but two. Popping up briefly for pre-order on Amazon earlier this week, MSI’s new Intel-powered gaming handheld looks set for a December release, with a smaller 7-inch version potentially being released this weekend.
The first attempt by MSI to break into the best gaming handheld market wasn’t a huge success, with brutal MSI Claw reviews showing that it struggled to hold its own against competitors such as the Asus ROG Ally. MSI will no doubt be hoping that these new handhelds, the first to be powered by brand-new Intel Lunar Lake APUs, will be better received by gamers this time around.
