The eponymous hero has lost his wife and the mother of their child, Teri, alongside two other love interests, Renee Walker and Audrey Raines. Not to mention, many friends and colleagues. How much more can one man take? Aside from the pulsating action and the race against time to save the day, Jack Bauer will have some personal stuff to take care of. For instance, the important relationship with his daughter Kim needs to be fixed, if Jack Bauer’s story is ever going to end properly.

So, it might take a bit more persuading to get him back in the saddle to help prevent a global threat. Bauer might be so far gone, he doesn’t even care about his freedom anymore, but if a chance at personal redemption was offered to him in return for his services, it might re-ignite his spirit. Jack Bauer was always a family man, but his job as a federal agent led to him having to make sacrifices no man ever should. His efforts to save the world often led to extreme consequences, and irreparable damage to the people closest to him.
Jack Bauer will now have a grown-up granddaughter who he has missed out on seeing grow up, as well as a daughter he is estranged from.
